Pros: I used this software for my first self-published book. I am not particularly tech savvy, but this was pretty easy (and exciting to see my manuscript materialize as a book!) It seems that for just about any and every question I came up with, there was a section in the tutorial to cover that, and tech support was available by email with a less than 24 hour turn around time. (I have never tried calling, so can't comment on that).
The software is very versatile, you can play around with it for free, and only pay when/if you decide to generate files. Then it is a one-time fee that licenses you for unlimited books and ebooks.
The files generated are clearly labeled for the different platforms, so it's easy to go to your distributor's website (Amazon, Ingram, Apple, Kobo) and upload directly. It also produces a PDF file.
I love this program!Cons: Haven't really found anything I don't like yet. I have only used it for one book so far; I am about to take my previous two books back from my hybrid publisher and re-republish them so that I can have more sales visibility and greater royalties, so I'll let you know. :)
Overall: I am extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it. Price is right, there are no risks of purchase, and I had no issues using it.
