"Great solution for automating SMS messaging" Posted 2021-05-30
Pros: Before I found out about Telnyx I was trying Twilio, so it was really great that the Telnyx Twexit API is mostly compatible with codebases written for use with Twilio. The pricing isn't bad either.
Cons: Could be a pro depending on your perspective, but I wish Telnyx didn't go for the super personalized onboarding approach - as an introvert, I hesitated when I couldn't just spin up the docs and try it out via trial and error (you have to set up a call with telnyx engineers).
Overall: Tried Telnyx for a toy app during a hackathon and was really pleased by how well documented the messaging api is.

"Love Telnyx!" Posted 2021-05-11
Pros: Telnyx has always been the most reliable of the phone providers we use. They are also the quickest to respond and solve problems.
Cons: At first the portal UI was hard to learn to use to use.
Overall: I have had an excellent experience working with Telnyx so far, better than with any other provider previously.

"Excellent sip trunk provider" Posted 2021-05-07
Pros: Prices are excellent and service offerings are fairly complete. Setup is easy and there are great tutorials for many systems.
Cons: There are some things missing like a fully functional SMS client. Need to use a 3rd party client or build own with the API.
Overall: Service has been for the most part set it and forget it. Support is sometimes slow to respond but responses are usually good.

"Solid Carrier, with Very Nice Extra Features" Edited 2021-04-30
Pros: Multiple codec choices, including Opus. This is a big plus. Transport choices of UDP/TCP/TLS --- another big plus. SRTP support. Easy CNAM storage. Good SMS/MMS support with a very nice and thorough API. Good documentation. Good portal. Excellent call quality.
Cons: Few minor irritating things about the portal; nothing major (can't change certain settings on a connection profile if a DID is using it, etc.) DID prices could be better, and there are extra MRCs for things like enabling SMS support and such on a DID.
Overall: I have used Telnyx as one of my primary VoIP carriers for a good while now. I haven't had any issues of note. The service has been reliable. The minute prices are very good, especially outbound. Really, I have no notable complaints. I have contacted their support a few times for issues that usually ended up being on my end. I usually contacted support via the chat function and it was always handled reasonably quickly (and sometimes very quickly, within only a few minutes). I have recommended Telnyx to MANY people, and I have signed up several of my clients with their own accounts. All the people that I know of that have gone with Telnyx on my recommendation have been happy.

I have used Telnyx with Kazoo, Freeswitch, SipWise C5, Asterisk, and with single phones. Connection setup has never been an issue at all.
Although I use several carriers for various reasons, overall, I have no reservations about highly recommending Telnyx for nearly any VoIP use case, and see no reason why I will not be their customer for the forseeable future. :-) -

"Powerful, easy to use, and great customer service" Posted 2021-02-03
Pros: So easy to use and a great value. Number partitioning is easy as is the API.
Cons: I had an issue porting a block of numbers but called support and they straightened me out in about 5 minutes.
Overall: Really easy to do self-service and easy to get help when that is needed too.

"Perfect for SMB IVRs" Posted 2021-02-02
Pros: Setting up an IVR was easy even for me (not very technical).
Was able to use my existing number.
Their user-interface looks awesome and is simple to use.Cons: I ran into a few problems, but their documentation had the exact guide to help me through.
Overall: Telnyx makes it super simple from start to finish. Going into this I never thought it was actually going to be that easy for me, but it literally only took me a couple hours to get everything setup, tested, and running. I’m more than excited that my Office Manager has a solid hour of time daily where she’s not routing calls the old fashioned way. Wish I would have discovered Telnyx sooner.
