RatedPower
RatedPower, part of Enverus, is an all-in-one software for designing utility-scale solar, BESS, and hybrid systems. It supports the full development cycle—from site selection to detailed engineering—enabling project developers, engineers, and analysts to work faster and more accurately. Users can assess land, locate optimal interconnection points, and design layouts using topographic and geospatial data. RatedPower also provides energy yield estimates, SLDs, and Gen-Tie reports that align with global standards. For BESS, it allows standalone or hybrid integration and helps evaluate feasibility through capacity optimization. Collaboration is easy thanks to exportable reports and layouts compatible with industry tools like PVsyst. With RatedPower, teams streamline project development while boosting accuracy and collaboration.

Glint Solar
Glint Solar is a cloud-based platform for early-stage utility-scale solar project site analysis, design, and development that helps developers and multidisciplinary teams screen, prioritize, and assess thousands of potential solar locations with integrated GIS and topographic data, satellite imagery, engineering-approved yield and feasibility tools, and 3D visualizations so they can evaluate buildable areas, mark exclusion zones, grid connections, and generate professional visuals that support permitting, stakeholder engagement, and internal decisions; it centralizes project data in a shared workspace to improve team collaboration between business development, GIS, and engineering, reduces wasted development hours on unviable sites, and accelerates project pipelines by enabling quick scenario updates and accurate reporting without relying on disparate tools or manual processes.

PV-DesignPro
Standalone Photovoltaic system design and analysis tool. Hourly simulation, uses hourly climate files (239 U.S. locations included). Sandia Labs PV Model. Enhanced version of PV-DesignPro-S developed in cooperation with Sandia National Labs Photovoltaic Systems Department. PV-DesignPro v6.0 is a suite of Windows 95, 98, NT, Win2000, and Vista compatible software designed to simulate photovoltaic energy system operation on an hourly basis for one year, based on a user-selected climate and system design. Three versions of the PV-DesignPro program are included on the Solar Design Studio CD-ROM: "PV-DesignPro-S" for standalone systems with battery storage, "PV-DesignPro-G" for grid-connected systems with no battery storage, and "PV-DesignPro-P" for water pumping systems. Below is a screenshot of the "S" version of PV-DesignPro. The purpose of the programs are to aid in photovoltaic system design by providing accurate and in-depth information on likely system power output.
