Snapseed

Pros: There are so many free image editing features within this app. It's truly incredible how many more options are available than are offered in many other free image editing applications. Unique, free editing options include the following: The "Brush" feature that allows users to brush areas for dodge and burn, exposure, temperature, and saturation adjustments. "Head Pose" allows users to adjust the appearance of the image subject's head position. The "Healing" brush is a blemish-correction feature that is usually locked behind a subscription paywall in most apps; here it is free and easy to use. Beyond these three, there is a wide assortment of highly customizable filters by category as well as "Tune Image" options that are familiar to most photo editors. Edit combinations can also be saved as "Looks" to use in the future. The app is well-organized, powerful, and easy to use.

Cons: The only con I have found with this app is significant enough to warrant removing a whole star. There is no way within the app to save progress on an image edit or to come back to previously edited photos without uploading it as a new image. The export feature seems to be a one-and-done action. Users can export an image several times and in a few different file formats; however, once the app has been closed, that's it. Users cannot enter the app to find a history of edited photos or any way to resume work on a project image.

Overall: Overall, I am very pleased with the use of this app for casual photo editing on images that I do not anticipate needing to work on more than once. There are so many features that it is fun for photo editing aficionados to enjoy editing a single photo for an extended period of time. The app is also organized in a basic enough manner to maintain ease of use for beginners. It is great for editing images for social media use. However, if a user plans to work on images as ongoing projects, it would be necessary to use a different image editing app or software that allows coming back to images with editable history and previously saved versions.

Pros: 1. It is available on all the mobile platforms.
2. It has some useful tools like different brushes and filters to make the editing process easy and fun.
3. Furthermore, it has a lot of tools which works effectively in changing the tone and color grading the images.
4. It is lightweight and easy to learn.

Cons: 1. It can only be used for casual photo editing and lacks a lot of features which are required for doing professional looking edits.

Overall: Overall, Snapseed is a well optimized and lightweight photo editor from Google which is easy to learn and use. It is a decent editor for doing quick touch ups and editing.

Pros: Intuitive interface.
In app tutorials for new users.
Auto color correction, Eye focus and other smart utilities.
Dark theme mode.
Available on Android (free) and iOS.

Cons: Only available on Android and iPhone - not available on windows , linux or other platforms.
No web version - it would be better to be a SaaS offering.

Overall: Snapseed is a great photo editing app available on smartphones with a really intuitive interface and easy approach for semi professional editing.

Pros: - Snapseed is the perfect application to edit photos with having to know about the editing, it has auto fix tool that fixes and colour correct the image automatically.
- There are multiple filters, that helps in setting the tone of the image according to the user's preference.
- It is available on both Android and iOS.
- It is lightweight and doesn't consume a lot of RAM.

Cons: -It is the perfect lightweight photo editor to edit photos on the go. No cons in my opinion.

Overall: Overall, Snapseed is a light and easy to use photo editor that anyone edit their photos with having to know about the editing.

Pros: 1. The user interface clean and and easy to use.
2. The auto enhance features works great in editing the images quickly on the go.
3. It has a lot of brushes and filters to edit the images according to user's preference.
4. It is lightweight and does not slow down the device while running.

Cons: 1. The tools are difficult to find on the user interface.
2. To use the features to its full extent, the users a required to have professional skills.

Overall: Overall, Snapseed is a lightweight mobile photo editor which can be used by anyone to do day to photo editing. It is easy to use and some really useful features.

Pros: A fantastic app when I had iPhone 7. I teach mobile photography and my students love it. Much easier to use than many paid for apps.

Cons: Snapseed freezes in iPhone 12 Pro with iOS15.1.1 Can not do Double Exposure etc.

Overall: Constantly disappointed when using Snapseed with iPhone 12, but it was brilliant in iPhone7.
It is very disappointing that the Snapseed is not keeping up with iOS development. I now can not use the Snapseed to teach my students how to use it. Contacting Snapseed support seems impossible.

Pros: - The features of Snapseed is that it can handle raw images efficiently and can edit and color correct without any issues.
- The user interface is super simple, it can be used by amateurs as well as professional.
- The auto edit features fixes the image and color grades without having to do anything.

Cons: - The social media integration does not work properly every time. There are some occasional lags.

Overall: Overall, Snapseed is a perfect editing tool for beginners who have little to no knowledge about editing.
