"Easy to use with a little experience" Posted 2025-09-18
Pros: Most things were fairly easy to realize with the builder. The result looks really good. Most functions are easy to find.
Cons: Team organization was a bit tricky. Furthermore, opening the project with Safari crashed the contents seriously once, so I had to rebuild a lot. Please do address this problem, because otherwise I love this builder!
Overall: Easy to use, nice results! I had some experience with other builders and WordPress before, and I found it very easy to use in comparison. Also, I find the pricing model where you only start to pay when you publish your site quite fair for users like me who are not overly experienced in website building. I could take my time, that helped a lot.

"Good, But very slow saving times" Edited 2025-09-08
Pros: Just about 6 weeks to learn from scratch. (Well, you need to have some kind of similar experiences before, like Baskit of 2012, Weebly (Obsolete) or Office365. Copy code and Paste code option! All over, very pleased with SiteJet! Great value for money! SiteJet made it possible for me, to rebuild fast! Free photos are helpful too! (using 90% my own photos, however, that option is great! (video too). Some of my websites, Google Search Console cant read. No idea why? Bridging this, as giving the sitemap into directly. Works.
Cons: Slow saving time! Yes, you can build a website with 100+ pages, when you have the time to wait for saving that site 40min to 1 hour. One thing is the Collections / blog option. Need something easier! Otherwise a great option!
Overall: Hopefully, SiteJet will continue, also with updates. Not like the previous 2012 fantastic Basekit builder (dicon.), or Weebly, with all their restrictions!

"Newbie (senior) user" Posted 2025-06-25
Pros: The user interface, with its many choices. The drag and drop and possibility of immediate result view after a modification.
Cons: So far none.
Overall: Last year I was 'volunteered' to take over as webmaster (because you are an TI guy) for a site based on Joomla. I am 74 years old. There was no handover, no design documents, no user manual, nothing. Though I appreciate the power of Joomla, I hated the learning curve and complexity. After review, I decided to (re)build the site from scratch, and, yes, there was a learning curve too, but boy is it much easier to master.

"A real alternative to WordPress without plugins" Posted 2025-05-21
Pros: With a wide range of premade elements, it's easy to build a richly designed website. All this without having to worry about installing plugins or keeping them up to date. As a web designer, this has come as a refreshing change coming from building WordPress websites up until now. What's more, the integrated project management and client portal is a welcome addition, something you don't have natively when working with WordPress. This makes the whole client experience so much easier to manage and to give a very professional viewpoint from the client side.
Cons: As of right now, I've not really run into anything I would consider to be on the "cons" side of things. I guess if you've not come from a WordPress page editor like Elementor or Bricks, you might struggle initially to understand all the options for elements.
Overall: I'm really pleased I found Sitejet. Compared to the offering you get with cPanel, which is a cut down version of Sitejet, the full-blown version has tons of features. The client portal and white-labelling features gives a very professional feel from the client's perspective. Project management is a breeze using the admin panel. The clever, careful use of AI built into the editor is a timesaver when it comes to writing SEO metadata, or even to better write some existing text you have on the page. In my opinion, Sitejet is a real contender for people wanting to move away from the WordPress platform, especially when using tools such as Elementor which do add a certain amount of bloat and slowness to the website.

"Great CMS" Posted 2025-04-24
Pros: - easy to use
- flexible (you can add nearly any code)
- great portal for customer
- amazing all in one solutionCons: there are bugs and errors from time to time when something is updated, but nothing too bad
Overall: Very good content management system with an all-in-one solution. You don't waste time with annoying backend design and handling, but can concentrate on designing great websites

"Finally! A web design tool that is easy and affordable for small business!" Posted 2025-02-12
Pros: Easy to use, Intuitive, Great Support, lots of options, fabulous templates for starting out, the ability to design and sell design services at an aggressive pricing if you want to get into creating websites for others.
Cons: Small learning curve if you aren't familiar with WYSIWYG web design, but totally doable, especially starting with some great templates.
Overall: I have been designing my own sites for over 25 years using several WYSIWYG systems. Having finally found one that is so clean and comes with such great support has allowed me to finally catch the white whale of affordable, durable, easy, and works across screens (Computer, Tablet, and Phone) without additional design or coding.

"General feedback about own experience" Posted 2025-02-12
Pros: Very good product and service side. Everything is great about your service, especially Martin (very fast problem solver support manager).
Cons: Website exporting and collection feature. It works, but not as expecting....
Overall: Everything built very nice, but not good at some features, like website export, realtime updating (sometimes you make changes but it doesn't work until you refresh the page and do same again). Also some kind of features, like "collection" have no reason to integrate for extra payment...

But at all, very good and intuitive service with lot of functions (despite the fact that a lot of little points still required updates or reworks). -

"Scaleable platform to build and manage client sites" Posted 2024-05-17
Pros: I like that the platform was designed for managing multiple client sites from one dashboard, with the ability to see the stage of each project at a glance, as well as the ability to assign team members to specific projects. Support was always swift in replies, which is one of the biggest plusses for me on any platform.
Cons: Having to learn a new platform after Wordpress for so many years was my least favorite, however it was easy enough to learn and adjust.
Overall: Simplified my web development operation, and client management, as well as team management. I like to keep things as simple as possible, however Sitejet provides the ability to get as technical as you want or need.

"Sitejet support" Posted 2024-04-02
Pros: I'm a non-techie and recently set up a new website using Sitejet. Mostly I found it quite simple to use, one I got the hang of it, but there was one element where I was really struggling. I couldn't find anyone, or any resources to help me until I tried sitejet.io - don't ask me why it took so long to find this!! :D But when I reached out for support they were amazing - friendly, patient and super efficient. My issue was resolved in a flash AND I now know where I was going wrong and how to do things in future. I'm very grateful and highly recommend the Sitejet helpdesk if you have any issues.
Cons: My issue was around linking the placemakers on my blogs page to the content of each blog. The articles I read and the videos I watched didn't explain that I needed to check the Collection Item box under the Link tab.
Overall: Overall I'm very happy. I've been using WordPress for my other website but with my new site my webhost offered Sitejet as standard. As it would have cost me a lot of money to get them to build the site in WP I thought I'd have a go with Sitejet myself and mostly I've found it easy to use with lots of useful features. The support from the help desk has been so good with the issue I was experiencing that I feel happy to recommend this product.

"Nice and easy headless CMS" Posted 2021-10-25
Pros: This is a feature-rich CMS with lot's of configuration possibilities. You can choose from different templates and then adapt to your favour.
Cons: Content & layout is not separated thus it is not possible to use another layout template (eg with a new fresh design) for existing websites without deleting the content.
Overall: Right now, everything I would like to set up was possible. Even when I didn't find it right away the support was super helpful to solve the problem.

"Great product" Posted 2021-08-01
Pros: Easy to use.
Great support team.
They worked with us to ensure their API met our needs.
Also completed several template updates for us at a reasonable fee (and quickly).Cons: Not much to add here really. We are a more complex customer than their typical customer but they really stepped up to support us.
Overall: Great experience. Nice bunch of guys with a great product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to build websites using a "no code" approach.

"Great software with super support team" Posted 2021-03-22
Pros: Great editor with well thought-out page management, very fair pricing and extremely many and easy ways to customize websites almost freely.
Cons: Currently, the only thing that could be criticized is the interface for account data (invoices, booked products...). This could be better integrated into the system.
Overall: I have been working with Sitejet software for several years and count myself as a somewhat advanced user.

"Best For The Value, Features and Function" Posted 2021-01-27
Pros: 1.) love the project management features that allow the assigned user to upload their content files. 2.) Love the website launch automated checklist feature that shows the designer areas to address before launching. 3.) Lastly, love how the designer can control how much or little access the assigned user has to edit the site.
Cons: Not really intuitive for non-technical end-users, this platform is best suited for use by web designers for their clients. Reliable within 24 hrs - not immediate.
Overall: Great overall experience with the product, the few times we needed support they friendly and effective.

"Great concept and good execution – apart from a few bugs in the CMS" Posted 2020-10-16
Pros: SiteJet is a good tool because it is easy to use, fully equipped with what it takes to build responsive websites with the usual extras. Also, they offer quick and individual service.
Cons: A few templates and features are still buggy. CMS malfunctions happen a lot with Safari.
Overall: Recommendation for realising website projects for clients who want good websites for smaller budgets or for temporary landing pages.

"Has potential but needs to up its game" Posted 2020-10-08
Pros: I highly appreciate the concept oft Sitejet. It targets web designers building websites for clients. This not a Wix, Jimdo or Squarespace type of solution where you just select a template and adjust it a little bit to your liking.
The time tracking and process tracking is great. I really like the feedback option to communicate with my clients.
It could become a great alternative to Wordpress and tools like Plesk. No plugins - woohoo!!
The website I created is fast, sleek and looks good.
The prices are absolutely fair as well.Cons: I takes quite a bit of getting used to. I just completed my first project and it took way longer than anticipated. The CMS is not that intuitive.
Due to the fact that Sitejet is a fairly young solution there isn't really much tutorial content out there on Youtube. If you get stuck, you have to find a solution on your own - or contact the support time, which of course eats up a lot of time as they aren't available 24-7.
Although I have a great internet connection there were some latencies.
Often I clicked into e.g. a text box and the cursor wouldn't show.
Adding tables sucks!
More svg icons please.Overall: I am so used to working with WYSIWYG builders like Elementor, Divi and WP bakery that I am a bit spoiled. Especially Elementor is offering quite a lot of stuff these days ... if it wouldn't be for the crappy performance.
