Radiance
Radiance
Radiance is intended to aid lighting designers and architects by predicting the light levels and appearance of a space prior to construction. The package includes programs for modeling and translating scene geometry, luminaire data and material properties, all of which are needed as input to the simulation. The lighting simulation itself uses ray tracing techniques to compute radiance values (ie. the quantity of light passing through a specific point in a specific direction), which are typically arranged to form a photographic quality image. The resulting image may be analyzed, displayed and manipulated within the package, and converted to other popular image file formats for export to other packages, facilitating the production of hard copy output. The major portion of the Radiance package, and the part that is of chief interest to users, is the lighting simulation engine that calculates light levels and renders images. -

Lattice Technology
Lattice Technology
An XVL file contains the CAD-accurate geometry, the linked bill of materials, assembly/service process instructions and more. From automotive, aerospace and defense, to industrial machinery, our customers are 3D model-based manufacturers who design and assemble complex products. Using tools from Lattice Technology, stakeholders can easily leverage 3D CAD models in order to author technical communications for their functional specific needs. SOLIDWORKS, Catia, NX, Autodesk Inventor, Creo and other native formats. XVL retains accuracy while reducing file sizes to 1% size of the original CAD model. Models from multiple CAD files and formats can be combined into a single file of XVL. Assembly work instructions, design review interactive documents, service instructions, and interactive spare part catalogs. Choose from a variety of formats/devices and a variety of standard formats, Microsoft Excel, Interactive web pages, 2D or 3D PDF, Apple iOS. -

EZ-CAM
Ezcam Solutions Inc
EZ-CAM was one of the first PC based CAM systems to enter the market in 1982. To this day it continues to offer innovative, productive, affordable manufacturing solutions. From simple and easy to use 2 axis milling and turning to full 3 and 4 axis Milling, Mill/Turn, 5 axis Wire EDM and arc G-code Optimization. Following a very positive reception for the ALIBRE CAD Add-In that we introduced in EZ-CAM V2020, we’ve further extended EZ-CAM’s CAD connectivity by creating a similar direct Add-In for the world-leading CAD System, SOLIDWORKS. Worksteps created by the “Contour”, “Pocket” and “Face” wizards can now be edited using the same wizard dialogs. Of course, the full set of parameters and settings are always available via the “Advanced” button. The new “Select Tool” option provides access to EZCAM’s tool library, while additional toolpath and cycle options ease the usage of EZCAM’s various toolpath combinations.Starting Price: $495
