GridMatrix
GridMatrix’s technology is built for flow optimization. The goal is to achieve reduced road user wait time, whether it is a vehicle at a light, a bus at a railroad signal, or a pedestrian at a crosswalk. A reduction in idle time due to stoppage is directly correlated to emissions reduction. Idling cars create more than 30 million tonnes of CO2 annually. Cutting these emissions to 0 is the same as taking 6.5 million passenger cars off America’s roads. Instead of building more roads to handle population and vehicle increases, cities can optimize the usage of roads they already have with GridMatrix’s real-time software platform. Cities are looking to reduce deaths from traffic accidents to 0, and GridMatrix can help get them there. Improved traffic flow is correlated with accident reduction, and GridMatrix’s analytic tools can help diagnose problem intersections with high accident rates to pinpoint the root cause.

AutoTURN
AutoTURN® is used to confidently analyze road and site design projects including intersections, roundabouts, bus terminals, loading bays, parking lots or any on/off-street assignments involving vehicle access checks, clearances, and swept path maneuvers. As the vehicle swept path analysis software of choice for transportation engineers, planners, drafters, and architects, AutoTURN is used everyday. In fact, almost every state DOT in the US and provincial MOT in Canada use AutoTURN making it the defacto standard software of its kind for government agencies. Designers can make adjustments to a vehicle’s path through manipulation of points along the travel way, allowing for fine-tuning of vehicle position. Sections of the turning simulation can be added or adjusted for increased flexibility. These different editing functions can be used to adjust Arc, Corner and Oversteer path.

Aurora Driver
Created from industry-leading hardware and software, the Aurora Driver is designed to adapt to a variety of vehicle types and use cases, allowing us to deliver the benefits of self-driving across several industries, including long-haul trucking, local goods delivery, and people movement. The Aurora Driver consists of sensors that perceive the world, software that plans a safe path through it, and the computer that powers and integrates them both with the vehicle. The Aurora Driver was designed to operate any vehicle type, from a sedan to a Class 8 truck. The Aurora Computer is the central hub that connects our hardware and autonomy software and enables the Aurora Driver to seamlessly integrate with every vehicle type. Our custom-designed sensor suite—including FirstLight Lidar, long-range imaging radar, and high-resolution cameras—work together to build a 3D representation of the world, giving the Aurora Driver a 360˚ view of what’s happening around the vehicle in real time.
