Aspen Petroleum Scheduler
Gain a comprehensive refinery-wide view of the schedule while simultaneously scheduling all key refinery activities. Maximizing diesel while minimizing mogas can seem impossible. Scheduling and blending models are invaluable to help find these unintuitive solutions. Reduce the gap between planning and scheduling with shared assays, production targets, process unit representation and blending correlations with the industry-leading planning solution, Aspen PIMS™. Enable schedulers to work simultaneously on the same schedule with automated alerts to changes. Improve responsiveness and decision making with refinery-wide scheduling that simultaneously schedules all key activities from within a single platform to increase production throughput. Gain a comprehensive refinery-wide view of the schedule while simultaneously scheduling all key refinery activities.

LUMINAI Refinery Advisor
Beyond Limits LUMINAI Refinery Advisor empowers refinery teams to plan, operate, and improve processes, which accelerates time to decision and increases consistencies between shifts. Understand how and why a recommendation is provided by the advisor with a transparent and interactive audit trail of the operational recommended remedial actions. Enhance the speed of operator performance when encountering plan deviations with consistent local or non-local remediation recommendations. Standardize the planning process when creating and deploying operation plans, by defining expected performance and embedding mitigation actions. Improve shift performances with operational insights and visualization of key operational metrics to provide a feedback loop to refinery planners. The power industry today is hampered by revenue loss, prolonged downtime, and diminished asset life. Driving value in power starts by tackling these operational and maintenance challenges with AI to increase efficiency.

SAVE
Developed in collaboration with OMV, Austria’s national oil and gas company, SAVE is an interactive simulation of a refinery environment. Refinery apprentices are trained to operate equipment and plant correctly and in safety, before they are permitted to operate in the real-world refinery. Plant and equipment are visualized via a VR headset, with the user free to explore, operate complex and large machinery, scale ladders, read gauges, etc. An experienced trainer follows his/her progress and is able to direct the training session, give guidance, and ensure that any mistakes are addressed. The training period until the trainee is able to work alone on major apparatus, machine and operations is reduced by up to 12 months. Repeating practicing can be done at one’s own pace, until the required standard is reached, without endangering the plant. This training is the most important element of safety for all new employees who have never before worked in such a plant.
