The platform makes it easy to track attendance, manage tuition, and communicate with families—all in one place. What we like most is how Procare helps us stay compliant while saving time. The reporting tools are clear and customizable, which is essential for audits and subsidy documentation. Staff find the interface intuitive, and families love the mobile access. It’s a system that supports both operational excellence and meaningful connection.
Cons: While Procare offers strong tools for operations and family engagement, its limited integration with academic platforms like Creative Curriculum has been a challenge for us. As a multi-site program, we rely on Creative Curriculum for lesson planning, assessment, and documentation. The lack of seamless data sharing between Procare and our academic system means staff often have to duplicate entries or toggle between platforms, which can be time-consuming and prone to error. We’d love to see future enhancements that support smoother integration with widely used early childhood education tools.
Overall: Our overall experience with Procare Solutions has been positive in terms of streamlining daily operations across multiple child care sites. The platform helps us manage attendance, billing, and staff scheduling with greater efficiency and accuracy. Pros: I really like the ability to send parents pictures or their children and updates for their activities. I love that one software package can provide everything that is needed to run a daycare center's daily activities.
Cons: I wish that Procare allowed for Parents to be directly billed for credit card fees. Due to this issue and the variability in how much the payment could vary we can't accept credit cards only ACH transfers.
Overall: Overall Procare is a great software package. You have everything that is needed to operate a daycare center with one software package.

Pros: This software product has made my job so much easier and has streamlined my processes! It has greatly reduced the amount of paper we use also.
Cons: There is occasional downtime, although issues are addressed and fixed quickly.

Pros: Procare Solutions provides our school with the best range of features that we have been able to find (and at the best price point). It covers many of our software and office needs and provides teachers and families with communication, connection, and ease of access.
Cons: Our school's enrollment and scheduling options (in which students enroll in multiple classes at a time and in multiple programs throughout the year) requires multiple workarounds with Procare Desktop's tags/tracking. Additionally, there are several features in Procare Online/Procare App that we wish had more options/flexibility.
Overall: Procare Solutions provides us with software management, payment collection, enrollment forms, parent interface, attendance tracking, and more. While we regularly see what new/improved competitors exist, we have yet to find a software option that is comparable.

Pros: I love that everything I need is all in one place. All student information, everything my families and I need, all payments are done through Procare app, and communication between my center and families can be used as well.
Cons: I did think there would be sample forms but have not found them, I had to create them.
Overall: I have an amazing experience so far! Procare saves me a ton of time and the parents love using it too.

Pros: I like the attendance and staff tracking, creating documents like allergy lists, photo lists, attendance sheets, and billing sheets.
Cons: I wish the data and information from Procare sheets could be used/shared in Excel documents.

Pros: The app is easy to use and easy to find what you need. The reports function is great and parents can easily find their tax info on their own.
Cons: Now that we have issues with our parents getting declined payments (even though they are on auto pay), I cannot get anyone on the phone or even to respond to emails. They are not responding to my parents either.
Overall: It was a good experience overall but for the lack of customer service. I cannot get someone on the phone to help and neither can my parents.

Pros: Great customer service, easy to use as a beginner and a great price point for everything you get both on the website and the app.
Cons: App tends to stop working on android and doesn't load consistently. The app will also log out after infrequent use.
Overall: My overall experience has been great, there a few things I would change or add the app but overall there are not many complaints especially for the price point.

Pros: We use Procare on the daily. It is user friendly for both staff and parents. We love how the cost is compared to what we were using. They offer a lot of parent connection activities such as note, pictures, video, ouch report, meal, diapering, mood, and more. These are all such great features that we love the options. We notice Procare does to updates. We love seeing the new features they offer.
Cons: When changing tuition, which we do annually, it is extra steps and more than work than we would like to. There are occasionally bugs, which makes it harder to sign-in/out and message families.
Overall: We love Procare and would highly recommend it! The price is great. The parents find it easy. Procare helps keep track of ratios and makes it easy to transfer students from one room to another.

Pros: Procare is easy to use, and to learn for new teachers. It allows communication and daily updates to be seamlessly shared with parents.
Cons: Customer service is all bots and AI, who cannot help you. It can take hours if not days to get a response from a person who is empowered to help you.
Overall: Even with the terrible support I recommend it highly! When it is working nothing can beat it. Procare is the best childcare software out there.

Cons: Integrations don't function, credit card errors are frequent, customer service is awful these days. Low cost is less appealing when things don't work.

Pros: The ability to use the software as come fairly easy to all ages of our staff and parents. its very user friendly, simplistic and straight forward as to the information your looking to post as well as the information as a parent you may want to see.
Cons: I wish we had the ability to post photos in to messages to parents. This would be helpful to tell the story when sending messages.
On that note the uploading of pictures in the incident report area seem to run slow, which isn't idea when your notifying parents of an injury.
At the end of the school year we aren't able to extrapolate photos by child, year or class. This would be helpful when creating class yearbooks, graduation slide shows etc.Overall: I have enjoyed using Procare for the past year. I think it's a super easy. platform to implement and train new staff on.

One area I’d love to see improved is the ability to handle account adjustments more easily. Having better options to write off or charge off parent accounts directly in the online version would save a lot of time. I also wish I could update which bank account tuition payments go to without having to call and wait for the backend team to process the change (which usually takes 48+ hours).
Overall, Procare is reliable and saves us time, but adding these features would make it even better for childcare centers. -
