    "Lacking Audio Flexibility."

    Pros: In the 90’s I loved this program. However, since Cyberlink has witness a decrease in sales over the years, the are cutting back on features.

    Video edit/ creation continues to be a breeze. There are many new features available. They have updated their mobile device catalog/ exporting to Social Media sites.

    Cons: Discontinued Dolby Digital 5.1/ DTS 5.1. Considering all the new audio codec available, one would think that Cyberlink would implement them into future releases.

    To this day, the program does not recognize an add-in digital tuner, only analog. It’s 2023, it’s time to get up to speed.

    I will not pay a monthly fee. I believe Cyberlink thinks this is a way for making up for lost sales.

    Overall: If audio isn’t as important to you as video, then this program/ app is for you. I will say this, Cyberlink has always been a few steps ahead of Roxio. I am grateful for that.

    Pros: It is an amazing video editing app, it is so easy to use. Almost everyone thinks about this app once before editing any video. It has good effects and amazing features. You can easily do the voiceover, add clips and pictures in a video with the help of PowerDirector.

    Cons: The only thing is that it comes with a watermark which does not look great to everyone. Also, a premium plan is not affordable to everyone.

    Overall: Overall it's a great app for every beginner to edit videos, even without premium membership you can use some of the amazing features of this app. also it can keep your edits saved as drafts.

    Cons: Interface can be simplified.
    Heavy on system resources especially while processing videos.

    Overall: CyberLink PowerDirector is a great video editing tool at an affordable price point. I got PowerDirector bundled with my laptop and despite being a novice was able to work around it. It provides lots of features and good tutorials as well.
