Certain features, such as user deletion and password changing are disabled on the demo instance. Use the demo instance to test the API, the interface, or the admin panel.

    Pros: Polr is self hosted Link shortening software. It is a light weight web program which can be integrated with any domain to create short links. It gives the flexibility of customized branded links.

    Cons: Polr is great web app for link shortening. However, there is no analytics involved, If you just want to short the link and don't care much for analytics, you should go blindly for it.

    Overall: Polr is a great self hosted web app. It is very clean and simple to use program which carters all your need related to link shortening with choice of your own domain. It can be easily hosted on any server. I use it to create short links of our products and use it for marketing campaign. It has very simple and clean interface. It allow the customization of Instances, Redirections, Themes etc. It provide complete installation/API guide and knowledge base .

    Pros: Polr gives complete control to your links. It gives you a personal URL shortener hosted on your domain. Complete customization can be done. The user interface is simple.

    Cons: No analytical data provided. Complete set up requires professional experience.

    Overall: Polr is a complete open-source URL shortener platform. It makes my own domain URL shortened and gives me complete control of my links. It is very beneficial to share the brand URL in the marketing platform.
