Pros: Running a SaaS business is like being pulled in 101 different directions at any one time. And with that one aspect of our business we had been neglecting was tracking competitors and providing battlecards to our sales team to be more effective in conversations with prospects. We adopted Playwise HQ to solve this issue and have been very happy with the fast roll out, ability to easily create competitor battlecards and to provide consistent objection handling strategies, talking points and competitive intel to our sales team.
Cons: For our ~6 person team there's no issues. It does everything we need.
Overall: Playwise HQ now plays a roll in all aspects of our sales operations. It helps with onboarding new AEs (bringing them up to speed on competitors), prospecting (highlighting where we have a greater chance of winning an opportunity) and in managing deals themselves (getting the competitive intel in the hands of our sales team). The key features I'd highlight are the consistency with each battlecard, the ability to highlight common objections and key talking points our sales reps need to know. It was also the only battlecard tool we could find that had an affordable monthly price.

Pros: We created battlecards for all 10-15 software solutions we needed to cover in just a couple of hours. We leveraged the AI featured to create the initial battlecard for each in a couple of minutes and then augmented this information with insights we had collected from previous sales calls and opportunities. We then invited our sales reps and our marketing lead and encouraged them to contribute any of their own knowledge to the field insights section.
Cons: There are 3 default roles of Admin, Editor and Viewer. Ideally it would be great to control what fields editors can edit.
Overall: Starting with Playwise HQ was a very smooth experience. We didn't really have a way of tracking competitors before and had random documents stored in various places with competitor insights so moving to Playwise HQ helped centralize everything. Using the AI feature meant it really only took me a couple of hours one morning to get completely set up, which was a real positive for me.

"Great Competitor Intelligence Tool For Sales Teams" Posted 2025-09-04
Pros: Playwise HQ powers all of our competitive intelligence needs for our sales team (1 Sales Manager, 3 Reps). It's very easy to create competitor battlecards with their AI feature and the content was both accurate and actionable for our sales team. There is also the ability to create battlecards manually. But the main benefit of having a platform to manage this is that there is consistency with the layout of every battlecard and the content is easy to navigate. Previously our sales teams had their own notes and we tried saving things in a shared drive but it wasn't scaleable. Playwise HQ centralizes all our battlecards, making it easy to share across the team and keep the content up to date.
Cons: For our sales team Playwise HQ meets all of our needs. For larger teams having the ability to segment team members into different groups or sales territories could be beneficial.
Overall: Overall Playwise HQ has made it easy to manage our competitive intelligence program for a small but growing sales team. With the ability to create battlecards with AI we can now cover more competitors than we previously did. Playwise HQ also makes sure we have all of the right info we need to position our solution correctly, handle common objections and share insights from existing customers in deals (for social proof). Their UI is also well designed and easy to navigate.
