Pros: I like everything (almost) about it. Not sure what happened to these people here, reading these reviews has me a little mind blown because I've encountered issues and have never been ignored, treated rudely etc. Also, depending on your experience with prompting and model you use, you should get close to what you wanted. I don't need to post anonymously, my user name on NC is brainstorm.

Cons: I think the voting in the DC can be worked on and also eliminating people with multiple accounts.

Overall: I would recommend NC to anyone. Seriously bewildered at some of these comments. Even if you don't have a paid account they give you free credits and chances to earn more everyday. I have a paid subscription and enjoy unlimited creations with some models which makes the subscription worth it! My advice, dint take it so seriously! Enjoy creating and enter contests but don't focus on that, you will get discouraged.

Pros: Depending on what it is - sometimes you can get ok results with a ton of wasted slot-machine tweaks.

Cons: Doesn't make what I asked for, ignores instructions completely most of the time, changes women to men, mixes up character features or copies them to everything. Interface isn't straight-forward. Wrong number of characters. I specify 4 with clear distinct instructions - and get 2 that don't match what I asked for at all.
Ask for: wholesome scene of man and woman making a sandcastle with their daughter at the beach in a sunset.
Nope - none of the models (even with safe mode OFF) - the image you're trying to make violates our policies.
Try wording it 1000 different ways - lose all my credits (that's money) - nothing works.
Like so many others - they change terms AFTER contract agreement. You can't make an agreement legally binding if you allow yourself to change the rules to anything you want. That's not something that can hold up in court but nobody ever challenges it. It's like a bait and switch.
Also customer service?
Now I'm just trying to use up my credits. Most get wasted anyway.

Overall: Total waste of money - and can't get a refund.
By the time I get something to look even slightly like what I asked for (if it's willing to do it without freaking out about the word "girl" being somewhere in the description - I still have to spend hours fixing it myself. I can do a better job by far - completely by myself. Total junk. I feel cheated.

Pros: Active community. The atmosphere within the platform is genuinely friendly: users comment, share advice, and support each other. For beginners, this creates strong motivation.

Variety of genres. The galleries feature a wide range of works — from classic fantasy and realism to abstractions and impressionist experiments. It’s a good place to get inspired or find like-minded creators.

Creativity of participants. Many artists don’t just make images but create full-scale art projects. This generates an engaging and dynamic visual flow.

Cons: Subjective moderation. Even after passing the automatic filters, a work can be banned by moderators as nudity or violation, even if it clearly falls under fine art. For example, an image of a male torso — even with the man wearing pants — may already be labeled as nudity. Lack of transparency. Support responses are often formal, sometimes even with threats and harsh wording instead of proper argumentation. There are no clear criteria for what counts as a violation, leaving the artist to work “blindly.”

Financial issues. The subscription is paid, but once an account is blocked it becomes impossible to download artworks, and refunds are practically unavailable. This undermines trust. Personally, I regard this as very close to fraudulent practice.

Non-transparent contest rules. Contests are one of the platform’s main motivators, yet the criteria for selecting winners are never explained. At times, weaker works in terms of quality or originality are awarded, creating the impression of a “closed kitchen.”

“Russian roulette” effect. Creators invest time, ideas, and money but never know whether their work will be deleted or ignored. This creates an unstable atmosphere and discourages long-term commitment.

Overall: For professional or consistent work the platform is unsuitable, and the actions of moderators — along with their openly dismissive attitude — result in a strongly negative user experience.

Pros: It has a great community
Free credits for (incentivized) liking and commenting on others
Contests and other items to win small amounts of credits

Cons: Terrible unreliable censorship - Cleavage - NSFW, many word blocking like (sexy) (breasts of any kind) - extremely ridiculous
Video gobbles 25 - 60 credits and about 30% of the time produces junk or unusable content.
Cost - If you are Canadian the pro membership is close to 80.00 a month with exchange and 32.00 for the lesser (pro gives 1400 credits a month, lesser gives 500) those credits vanish quickly using the enhance, face fixing and other features for images. Not worth it in my opinion. Horribly overpriced

Overall: Community is great - Site has interface issues, errors (frequent) during renders where it just chokes, Offers Loras to mod images, at a cost, but some work well, others are just terrible.
Offers Dal-E3, Google, Flux, SD, and Hidream engines but inconsistent results. Frustrating and a big time credit gobbler.

Pros: Easy interface. Sometimes. Picture gallery filled with ads, no methods to organize your work. collection interface is ugly and unfriendly

Cons: May use your service credit and generate noise.

No opportunity to download prompts and pics from suspended account

Overall: Do not enter. you can get better result installing your own personal AI for free (and forget about censorship)/ or using Civitai

Pros: They have some positives that are basically present in all other sites such as daily free credit and challenges, but the rest is bad.

Cons: They deleted two of my accounts without any violations of the publishing rules.. The works took me a whole year of work and received hundreds of likes, all of them are gone.. And the worst thing is that the supervisors deal with them with arrogance and do not respond to messages, and I challenge them.. There is not a single work of mine that violates the rules

Overall: Don't waste your time and effort on these arrogant fools who think they have the right to act like the North Korean leader!

Pros: The site generates good quality images except for that nothing good.
There are constant competitions and challenges.

Cons: Deleting accounts without reason and not responding to our complaints about these errors, the site administrators do not care about the users

Overall: I do not recommend it... The site's supervisors do not care about the user... They delete accounts and do not respond to our objections... I lost hundreds of businesses that I spent two years working on.

Pros: Great for sharing images created by artificial intelligence.

The few people who understand actually having a life comes 1st.

Cons: Too much theft overall from both users who have been there for a while & new users.

Too much expectations for being a chatroom host, I am only one human being, & I have a life, NightCafe isn't important to me, my real life will always come 1st. Come to think of it I wonder how much people on there actually have a life, or knows what it's like to actually have one. (I see other users ask where chat hosts where they disappear to & why / how to run the chatroom as well) It's an anon site, you don't know anyone personally, why would you be telling the host what to do.... Ridiculous!

Favoritism in some verified chatrooms - you would think hosts are to keep it professional in some verified chatrooms, but nope some hosts don't..

It's an anon site, yet people look forward to having deep discussions with the same strangers they don't know almost every time they are online, like what ever happened to having a real life / having a life? You can't trust people online. Come on now.

Kids & adults using the same platform - there are so much things wrong here! And usually you can't tell who is a kid or not, there are different chatrooms for kids & adults, but that doesn't change anything, anyone can join any room, anyone can follow anyone. On a platform with way over 5 million members kids & adults using the same anon platform, NightCafe, where people seem to be more familiar with each other, isn't a good idea. (I've never seen any other anonymous platform with people so familiar with each other)

Overall: Meh.

AI wouldn't make stuff how I wanted to so I worked my way around to remove the problem and then build up on the base image but even though the base is confidential (not shared , not public) they still ban you, no asking why, offer assistance or anything.
Also, if your art is confidential unless published how can they view your stuff.
I would say a breach of privacy.

Pros: Nothing. The environment and moderators are so rude, uninformative, and arrogant that they ruin the entire experience. Expect your work to be labeled as NSFW if there is more than a shoulder showing, while you can scroll through other artists' works of topless men with bulging packages or topless women in things.

Cons: Your artwork will not be published (with no reason given why), or your published works will not be shown on other people's feeds. If you question why, your account will be banned, all your work deleted, and no reason will be given why. If you have a paid account, you will NOT receive a refund.

Overall: The worst AI site there is, hands down. There may be some nice people on there, but if the moderators take any sort of offense to your work (any skin showing more than a hijab), you will be banned.

Pros: It allowed me to create AI artwork. There are reasonable examples to guide you. The advanced prompts are limited. It would help to know what prompts to use.

Cons: They charged twice, admitting they thought I accidentally clicked the subscribe button twice, but refused to refund because their 'policy' is they don't refund after 7 days.

Overall: See pros and cons.

Pros: It offers several different AI based text to image systems, from early less effective ones to more recent Stable Diffusion and DALL-E2.
The latter two make usable images more often than not.
Its interface is constantly evolving and has improved substantially with time.

Cons: In something that uses text to generate images, too many words have been banned, and the list grows daily. This makes using it ridiculously hard, as they will not tell you which word caused the prompt to be rejected.
Their TOS is inadequate, and they block people for violations that are NOT in it. Their database includes a large portion of porn, but they crack down hard on anything that is remotely adult, innocent or not. Some mild, side-on nudity is tolerated if flagged NSFW, but give it a few weeks, I expect even that will change. Render a child at your own risk, as in their mind rendering a child is "inappropriate", as it seems they have done everything in their power to make that impossible, even though it was allowed a couple months ago. Render chibi style adults with cartoonish proportions, and you will likely have your account closed.
Even if your renders predate their censor creep, don't consider them safe.
Their staff are uncooperative and rude, if you can even get them to respond. They are more likely to block you than answer.
They have been lying for three months about dealing with the over-sensitivity of the auto-blurring of any image the system deems inappropriate, while doing the exact opposite.

Overall: A waste of money. They are expensive, offer little more than the free services, and will delete your account without warning. Offend their warped sense of values, and you go from "valued" customer to permanently blocked and ghosted. Confronted about it they will offer falsehoods about warnings not delivered. I lost three months of work for which I paid them for their service. Admittedly they refunded the credit I had not used, but that did not compensate for my lost effort.

Pros: Everything, but the best is the easy beginnings to create default things, with a high level of detail.

Cons: The thin line between good and bad that can be created can get you banned.

Overall: It is a perfect place to create a lot of good stuff and dream with a lot of the presets, you can make from a house painted by a prehistory child, to a spaceship according to the plans of Leonardo DaVinci.
