About MAISY Database
MAISY Commercial and Residential Utility Customer Energy Use and Hourly Loads Databases were introduced in 1995, including information on 10,000 utility customers throughout the US. Databases have been vastly updated and extended each year to provide 2020 MAISY Databases that now include current energy use and hourly load profile data on more than 7 million US individual commercial and residential utility customers. Databases include information on building, equipment, operation, occupant, and energy use for each utility customer record. MAISY Commercial and residential hourly load profile databases have been developed from dozens of data sources including utility, association, government and Jackson Associates proprietary utility customer surveys and detailed appliance engineering analysis. Databases reflect a statistically valid sample of residential and commercial utility customers throughout the US.
