Overall: Love this software. It is one of the best fitted software for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academies. Very well organized and user friendly.

Pros: We use the following features extensively:

Communications
Attendance
Promotions
These are essential and robust in their offerings. Theses features allow for the seamless coordination of activities and business functions. We also coordinate with our accountant to use the reports feature periodically.

Cons: We would like the ability to create custom reports to search for lists such as students by belt, income by sale type: tuition, testing, item sales. If this feature exists we have not discovered it yet. We are quite busy, but that is the point of all the awesome features included that we effectively use. The smooth operating of these features takes a lot of pressure off of us for running the business.

Overall: Superior. When we restructured our business in 2018 this management system was instrumental in our success. It has become a necessary element in our operations.

Pros: Setup and training was a breeze! Tool is EXTREMELY easy to use! I am Doing MORE with LESS overhead!!

Cons: Need 2 way text, it is on the roadmap, just not soon enough.

Overall: I love the product team!! Went from 800 to 300 a month in software and doing a lot more with ease!!

Pros: Super friendly service and staff, and on top of that super reliable. The site is never down (not something that can be said about their competitors).

Cons: We don’t really have cons. It would be great if we could check in students through their name instead of a membership number (sometimes new students forget their number).

Overall: We’ve been very happy with this software. When we first open the gym we reviewed several options and Kicksite was the one that we were the most excited about using.

Pros: Kicksite gives us easy-to-use tools for tracking student progress toward their next belt, allowing students to have greater control over their billing (like not having to bother us to update a credit card), having a video library of instructional material for self-study at home (or when a lockdown is in effect), and reliable data for our finances and future projections.

Cons: There's some features we would like to see. Fortunately, Kicksite is responsive to these requests. For example, we would like the inventory tracking ability to be more robust (like being able to track clothing sizes instead of just a total number of items in a category). We would also like belt testing events to pull information "live" from a student's profile to make correcting promotion mistakes faster. But these are details and Kicksite staff have acknowledged and are working on.

Overall: Kicksite is much better than what we used to use. We used to track attendance on paper which did not work. And we used to automatically ding students for late payments. Now, the ability for students to change their payment information within a 7 day grace period has significantly decreased the number of payments we have to follow up on when they are late.
