"Excellent multiseat solution, much lighter than VMs"

    Posted 2026-03-07

Pros: The ability to turn a single PC into two independent workstations is incredible. It saves a significant amount of money on hardware since I didn't need to buy a second CPU or motherboard. The drag-and-drop device assignment is very intuitive and works flawlessly with zero lag.

Cons: The initial configuration can be slightly confusing if you are not tech-savvy, especially when assigning specific USB devices. It would be helpful if the documentation for new users was a bit more simplified.

Overall: I have been using ASTER to share my high-spec gaming rig with my family, and it works perfectly. We can both use the computer at the same time without any performance issues. It is a much better and lighter solution than setting up complex virtual machines with GPU passthrough. Highly recommended!

Cons: one thing thou is the disk space..you got to have a lot..but then again its much cheaper to buy a hard disk than the whole PC..I just save my working files and relocated my downloads and documents to another hard disk so it wont be a problem..

Overall: This is a great solution. I have a small office at home, ASTER made it possible so I can work from home and my kids to do their homework at the same time in just one PC. Thank you ASTER and more power.

    "Aster Software"

    Posted 2026-02-17

Pros: Easy To Use. Very good compatibility with most software. ASTER does not require a powerful PC, unlike a VM, it is easy to set up - just drag the icon to the right place and despite the fact that the license is paid, the savings on hardware will completely cover the cost of the license. Moreover, the savings on electricity will be long-term and only it will fully pay off the license. Good support that responds promptly and helps with any problems that arise!

Cons: I didn't notice any disadvantages for myself in this program, everything is fine.

Overall: I didn't have any problems after installing, but after using Aster, I was surprised at how well it works. No problem at all

"Aster in a home environment "

    Posted 2025-12-20

Pros: I like how seamless ASTER makes sharing my computer with family members for doing school work simultaneously. I appreciate that it solves the problem of having to buy additional computers, especially when the whole household needs to go online for various things such as studying, writing emails, exploring, and even playing games. This is especially noticeable when my father does his work documenting, he is a landscaper and does not know a lot about computers, so me being able to emulate having his own desktop works super well and Aster makes the managing of accounts very easy. I like that ASTER allows me to get my money's worth out of the hardware I already have without needing individual computers for everyone in my household. The ability to set up multiple profiles on my system is particularly helpful. The initial setup was very easy, and familiarizing myself with the user interface was fast. Their customer support is also really helpful if you need a question answered.

Cons: Aster is not widely recognized by applications and can set off red flags if used in the wrong application.

Overall: I like Aster, I would recommend it to anyone who has a moderate to high performance PC as it allows you and your team to multitask seamlessly for the tasks that really matter.

"ASTER Turned Our Single PC into Two"

    Posted 2025-12-12

Pros: 1. Lets two people use one PC at the same time.
    2. Saves a lot of money since there’s no need to buy a second computer.
    3. Easy to use once everything is set up.
    4. Works smoothly for everyday tasks and even light gaming.
    5. Doesn’t interfere with other software.

Cons: I think if someone doesn't know anything or is literally not 1% techy, then they will have to watch videos to set it up at first.

Overall: I love using ASTER because it allows my brother and me to have two separate profiles on two different monitors using the same PC. This is fantastic as it feels like having two different PCs just by adding an additional monitor, keyboard, and mouse, so there's no need to buy an extra CPU. It's very simple to use, and once everything is set up, I don't have to do it again and again, plus it doesn't lag. What stands out is how easy it is to switch setups or adjust things if needed, and the interface is very easy to understand. The initial setup was super easy and user-friendly; it didn't take me a lot of time to understand.

    Budget price.
    Compatibility with most software.
    Awesome support.
    Hardware Requirements on a budget.
    Both Linux and Windows compatible.

Cons: Need more time to find a bad thing about the program

Overall: I use aster mostly for productivity, the cost of get another pc its expensive beside the option of getting aster and let split the main pc.
Beside that on my home use it for gaming, set up a lan party, without need to everybody bring his pcs. Never had a problem with the software itself.

    "Aster V7 For Gaming Expirence"

    Edited 2025-08-25

Pros: Aster V7 is the best solution for dividing your PC’s power to enjoy a full gaming experience across different titles. While it’s possible to achieve something similar with virtual machines, the input lag is high and the overall experience is poor. Aster v7 stands out as the only truly flexible piece of software that lets you game as if you were using two separate computers at the same time different titles.

Cons: When it comes to gaming, cooperative play on the same computer is not always possible, but that’s not a limitation of Aster V7. Instead, it’s due to certain anti-cheat systems that some games implement, which interfere with the “two PCs in one” method. However, for the vast majority of gaming titles, this setup works perfectly.

Overall: It’s awesome! Even if a particular game doesn’t work, it’s only a minor inconvenience, you can still jump into another title on the second PC at the same time.

"A Valuable Tool for Earth Observation and Environmental Research"

    Posted 2025-06-06

Pros: ASTER provides high-resolution, multispectral images that are incredibly useful for studying Earth's surface. I especially like its ability to create 3D maps and detect temperature variations, which help monitor natural disasters, climate change, and land use. The data it provides is critical for scientists, educators, and policymakers worldwide.

Cons: Some of the satellite data is not updated frequently. It can take a long time to get recent images.

Overall: Overall, ASTER is a powerful and important tool in Earth science. It helps solve real-world problems like glacier melting, volcanic activity, and deforestation. Even though it doesn’t offer real-time data, its detailed imagery supports better decision-making and a deeper understanding of how our planet is changing.

"Aster: a practical and efficient solution for multi-user work"

    Posted 2025-05-18

Pros: I liked that it allows you to split a single computer into multiple workstations easily. It's an affordable and functional solution for educational or work environments. The installation was quick, and the interface is user-friendly. It also optimizes system resource usage, helping to extend the lifespan of equipment.

Cons: It can have issues with certain Windows updates, and it would be helpful to have more documentation available in Spanish.

Overall: My overall experience has been very positive. ASTER has improved productivity in my workspace, allowing multiple people to use the same machine at the same time. Although there are a few areas for improvement, it is an excellent investment due to the savings and efficiency it provides.

    "What i think about Aster?"

    Edited 2025-03-11

Pros: It is a very flexible and comfortable program, it can be used as a work tool as well as for everyday situations, and it is not complicated to understand at a glance and it is not complicated when it comes to making changes, and its license is quite accessible.

Cons: It is the time that moderators take to respond to problems, sometimes up to more than 3 days, which seems excessive to me because if someone uses this tool to work, they cannot wait for the uncertainty of when they will respond.

Overall: I think Aster is great. I lost my PC because it was old, and thanks to Aster my husband and I can share the same computer without any complications, which saves us time and money. Sometimes we have had small support problems that take too long to respond, but these problems are not recurrent at least. If you have a good computer and good components and you need a 2nd PC, I really think that Aster is an economical and practical solution.

    Posted 2025-02-05

Pros: All the features work perfectly or almost perfectly, and it's extremely low cost.

It's amazing for use of 2 or more people without having to buy another PC.

I made my subscription for one year and has been amazing. There's no software out there with that many features that Works that well.

Cons: The design of some contents could be better and I would like to have like a half year or even monthly subscription. That would be awesome.

Overall: It absolutely solves my problem with having only one pc and can share with up to other 3 people (in my case).

"The most innovative software that I have used"

    Edited 2024-05-29

Pros: I initially found out about this software when I was trying to find a way to play Fortnite with my son having only one PC. Using this software I didn't have to buy any hardware. I had a spare wireless keyboard and mouse and connected the TV to the PC (bluetooth also works). The TV is 120hz and the Monitor is 240hz @ 1080p medium settings Fortnite works flawlessly. Sometimes we play different games at the same time or sometimes I do some work while he is gaming on the TV. It was very easy to set up and was running in minutes. I find it amazing how much more you can get out of one PC using this software.

Cons: I have had zero issues with this software. I can think of any cons.

Overall: I have used this software for 2 years and I have never had any issues with it. It just works. You can turn it off with a click of a button (kids bedtime!), swap hardware around with drag and drop as well as some networking features like proxy settings that I haven't personally used. The software is very easy to use and has recently been updated with a very clean, modern looking interface that looks really good. I had it on Windows 10 before upgrading to Windows 11 and was able to get an updated version of the software and again, the software carried on working flawlessly on the brand new operating system...Love it!
