    Pros: Easy to use,
    Timely updates and upgrades,
    Great customer service and prompt response time
    Provides everything we’ve needed in a Club management software for over 19 years.

    Cons: I would like to see the addition of a class management application, that could track class reservations, attendance and revenue.

    Overall: I did a lot of research on management software prior to purchasing Gym Assistant when I opened my Fitness Center in October of 2005. It was a decision that has made my life so much easier.

    "Top of the line gym management software"

    Pros: Ease of use, customer support, fob integrated software, costs vs other products on the market, software updates, product improvements.

    Cons: I can't really say I have any cons. If anything, the software lacks CRM capabilities BUT I cannot complain due to the low cost for the software platform. Majority of the other gym software companies charge exorbitant fees for similar software with CRM capabilities.

    Overall: Our facility has been using Gym Assistant for 15 years and couldn't be more pleased with the continuous software updates, tech support, and ease of use.

    "Fantastic System"

    Pros: The ease at which everything is integrated: auto-door, all hardware needed, monthly dues processing, reporting is fantastic, ease of set-up and modification to system. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUPERIOR.

    Cons: Nothing. Any glitches I have had are directly related to my lack of tech skills. Quickly addressed by the support team.

    Overall: Wonderful. I cannot say enough about how great Gym Assistant is. I recommend Gym Assistant to anyone who will listen.

    "50 years of Gym Operation "

    Pros: First and foremost is customer service. Though Gym Assistant is a good product on its own. When problems arise who is there to help? Problems are few but when they arise Gym Assistant’s customer service has always solved them quickly and to my satisfaction.

    Cons: It would be nice to be able to text members concerning the status of their memberships. Automatically would even be more advantageous. Missed payments, past due accounts, expired credit cards. Reports will provide the info but not the results.

    Overall: We are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year and I have experienced a lot of changes during that time. One of our best additions was using Gym Assistant Software and I don’t expect to change any time soon.

    Pros: Cost effective for small business.
    Easy to use.
    Ease to train others how to use.
    Love the Mobile alerts with the last upgrade.

    Cons: While support is always helpful, I find that waiting for someone to get to work in California a bit inconvenient.

    At times messages pop up on assistant that are errors due to upgrades and nobody tells you about it- makes you wonder if theres a system problem in your business.

    Overall: Satisfied. Wish the key cards would last longer, Delamination is poor quality of key cards and upgrade to digital key too expensive for small business.

    "Best Choice"

    Pros: We chose Gym Assistant for the "KISS" (Keep it simple - - -) The other software products we reviewed had way too many options just like the old VCR. We have been open now 7 years, are very profitable, and our members love the simplicity of "swipe your card, and it is all done". Billing, records, reports, delinquency are all great!

    Cons: Need more time to think about that! Filling up a "con" section when we have not had any "defining moments" outside of upgrading to a new controller is beyond the scope of the request.

    Overall: In a previous life I was a software engineer. When reviewing various other gym products, I placed my mind in the position of an end user. Our members want to get in, workout, and leave. They have no time or desire to multi-task with other members outside of their time together in the gym.

    "Gym Assistant Review - 8 years strong"

    Pros: - constant upgrades
    - automated billing
    - automated text messages to denied access members WITH a link to update their payment information. Takes care of having to call members to get their payment
    - simple, but effective software

    Cons: - updates can often “break” other parts of the software unintentionally
    - gatekeeper verifications can sometimes be slow (3-5 seconds) and cause a delayed entry
    - no Bluetooth key integration into their new app

    Overall: Gym Assistant has served us for over 8 years and while there’s been a few hiccups along the way I will happily recommend them to anyone. Support is quick to respond whenever there is an issue and the continuous updates leave me happy to continue with them

    Pros: I opened my gym 7 years ago and wasn’t sure how to start or what program to use. I found Gym Assistant and it’s been a cake walk since day 1 working with them all. The team is amazing and always helpful. I even got some personal cell numbers for emergencies which also is a nice security blanket. Highly recommend

    Cons: I like EVERYTHING this company has to offer. There has never been a bad incident that I could complain about

    Overall: This is the best and easiest software I’ve ever had to work with and takes care of everything I need to keep things organized and professional.

    Pros: Simple to use! Best in class support almost instantly, especially in these automated times, these guys ROCK.
    I've been using Gym Assistant since my Studio's inception in 2007.

    Cons: From a member mgt side... nothing!
    I use a separate software CRM for my clients for meal planning, scheduling, progress pics, etc. Mostly because this other CRM platform hosts my website, landing pages, and marketing systems.

    Overall: I research Software companies often, and for over 17 years have kept with Gym Assistant. Highly Recommend!

    Pros: Ease of creating attendance reports to submit for monthly billing
    Responsiveness of support whenever I have an issue.

    Cons: Annual cost.
    Sometimes I cannot figure out on my own how to find or create something I need.

    Overall: Very good! I would recommend this software to any gym owner who needs to keep track of their membership base, especially for billing purposes.

    Pros: Easy to navigate, simple for customers, easy tracking of gym users. We are able to break down gym users by type (customer, staff, friend of customer). This is an important aspect for reporting to the executive leadership. It also provides automatic notification if a membership needs renewed.

    Cons: This is a simple system to navigate. I can not think of any cons.

    Overall: This has been incredibly helpful for data collection. It is also very easy to train staff on, and user friendly.

    Pros: I absolutely love that I can call and get help right away.. it's easy to learn and hard to mess it up.. if you make a mistake its easy to fix.

    Cons: More explanation as far as freezing and billing options.. I had to learn on my own though trial and error, and still learning.

    Overall: I am absolutely happy with the soft ware. I am so computer slow and lucky I can turn it on lol. The 2 ladies I speak to are absolutely amazing Sarina, has an easy listening voice and the other lady (forgot name, please forgive me) I love her 🐕 and she is new and learning as well.

    Pros: This software is easy to use, beginner friendly and perfect set up for my small gym. One feature that stands out is the paperless option where you can send out documents to be signed without having to print!

    Cons: There could be more features added to personalize.

    Cons: It's not a knock on the current product but would love to have a group exercise class scheduling option.

    Pros: Keeps me informed on clients' dates. I use it for my Dog training business, it keeps everyone together.

    Cons: Sometimes the expiration dates don't add up correctly.

    Overall: It's a Great system. Easy to use. I have made money by using. Customer service is Excellent they are extremely responsive!!
