Pros: One of the most easy to use and navigate softwares out there. Intuitive UI and vast functionality. Gives you instant access and saved a lot of time.

Cons: Sometimes it does lag when working on large datasets.

Pros: GoAnywhere MFT offers powerful automation, strong encryption, and flexible protocols like SFTP and FTPS. The intuitive UI makes it easy to manage secure file transfers even for non-technical users. We especially like the workflow automation feature which saves time and reduces human errors.

Cons: Initial setup can be a bit complex without proper documentation. Some integrations require extra configuration.

Overall: Our overall experience with GoAnywhere MFT has been very positive. It has brought consistency, security, and automation to our file transfers. Support is responsive, and the product has proven reliable for both internal and external exchanges. A solid choice for any organization prioritizing secure data movement.

Pros: They have very interesting and user friendly profile where we work on FTP process to automate our client data transfer process with GoAnywhere without having any issues.

Cons: Never have any issue, instead I like their support team and managed services that automate our work with easy to manage services.

Overall: Overall, For MFT and FTP both process the GoAnywhere solution is the best and useful solution to automate the client data. They have best services so I recommend my friends and social groups to try GoAnywhere for their FTP related works.

Pros: GoAnywhere is an extremely versatile and multi-faceted MFT tool. I have yet to run into something that it can't do. And we've barely the scratched the surface of using it for automation & API integration. We've also been able to have it integrate with our AWS, GCP and SharePoint environments easily. I've had to engage help and support on many instances and they have always provided great assistance in a timely manner. Would recommend GoAnywhere with two thumbs up

Cons: Occasionally, some of the more advanced functions within cloud environments are still being developed. So while Fortra is quick to add things in we have had some delays waiting for an exact feature or integration to be improved.

Overall: Overall its a great & versatile tool. Bit of a learning curve (especially if you haven't done any object oriented programming before). But the biggest strength is that it integrates really well with older systems (FTP environments, on-prem servers) and also with newer cloud environments (SharePoint, AWS, GCP)

Pros: The product is very versatile and secure. It allows us to serve a number of different and sometimes complex file transfer needs. We can securely share out any data targets in your environment, regardless of the backend platform or necessary protocol. The user interface is friendly.

Cons: Setup and configuration of security and some of the automation can become complex, but that is to be expected with the amount of customization and versatility.

Overall: After a long and grueling search to meet some of our complex file sharing/transfer and file automation needs, our search is over. GoAnyWhere does the job well.

Pros: Good price. Many connection and task configuration options. Ability to run jobs on schedules, via folder monitors, or event triggers.

Cons: The reporting is somewhat weak. Wish you could duplicate a user (but you can create users from templates or create a new user by exporting an existing user, modifying the definition, and importing).

Overall: Overall, GoAnywhere is a pleasure to use. The expression language and available tasks allow us to do everything we need to do.

Pros: Supporting to secure transfer files by multiple ways.

Cons: In our environment, we need GoAnywhere to call SAP functions.
Automation part is not easy to understand.

Overall: Meets our basic requirement.

Pros: I was running a series of 40+ bash shell scripts to transfer files around with several vendors. Anything would have been an improvement. But WOW - what an improvement! Love the ability to use variables for everything. Copy some files from point A to point B, and create variables for the source and destination. Now you can use the source variables to move files into an archive, while using the destination variables to transfer files to an SFTP server. "Monitors" gives you the ability to watch for files to appear - and then run jobs when it happens. Dragging and dropping elements into projects makes it so quick and easy to build out a complicated task. What used to be 200 lines of code can be compacted into a 10 line task that is easy to read.

Reporting is also a huge plus. And now I can send those reports to folks that need to monitor the file transfers to ensure that things are trucking along. Did I mention email notifications? Too many great things to list here, just watch their demo.

Cons: I haven't found many cons to this product. Most of my complaints have been nullified by support who has pointed out to me that I was building things wrong.

Overall: Love, love, love this product. I am starting to look into some of their other offerings. If you are struggling with a pile of tasks involving moving files around - you need to try this product.

Pros: GoAnywhere facilitates the monitoring of file-sharing activities. Easy to add files to its cloud. Secures the path between the sender and receiver when transferring files. Also works on any latest browser, so installation of software is not necessary.

Cons: There is some learning curve on this platform. In performance it's great.

Overall: Overall, GoAnywhere MFT is a robust platform. It performs pretty well in extensive file sharing within the company. It secures the files by auto-encrypting and adds an extra layer of authentication which ultimately makes it harder for any attackers to steal data.

Pros: GoAnywhere MFT is a fantastic product for automating file transfers and database imports. It is very easy to use, affordable, reliable, and flexible to meet your needs.

Cons: The only con I can think of is I wish there was a better way to request enhancements, that could also be reviewed by others and voted on to be added to future releases.

Overall: I would recommend GoAnywhere MFT to anyone looking to automate their file transfer solutions. It is one of my favorite pieces of software I interface with on a daily basis.

Pros: Easy to use, very intuitive, easy set up, the installation of this product is pretty straight forward.

Cons: It needs the ability to separate users in groups, so that certain people can modify only that group user.

Overall: This is a very easy to use product, the automations are built in a faster and more intuitive way, reducing time by a lot.

Pros: Easy to setup and easy to use. Resource are feature rich and easy. I did not receive any training and able to get going quickly.

Cons: User interface could use some modernization.
Does not have debugger, breakpoint function.
Data transformation is somewhat limited and cumbersome.
Could use more job control components. Doesn't have "else if", only has if else.
Workspace could be by provided by default and automatically deleted.

Overall: Navigations between projects, schedulers and monitors could use some improvement. In some area, I have to get back to right place in order to get the link to show then I could navigate between projects, schedulers and monitors.

Pros: It's easy to setup and configure and supports FTP, SFTP, FTPs and HTTPS. I especially like the feature where it auto disables users accounts if they have not been used in 30 days.

Cons: None at all!! We have been using the software for several years now and very pleased with with it.

Overall: Great product and and the only time we had to call support was to understand the upgrade path to a newer version.

Pros: GUI.
Scheduler.
Flow of Logic in a Project.
Job Logs.
Functionality with API, Emails, SQL, etc.
More ways to let developers know when a project has erred.

Cons: GUI slows down significantly with bigger projects.
Not much functionality in place for things like arrays and matrices.
RowSets are somewhat limited in what you can do with them from a matrices point of view.

Overall: GoAnywhere is very useful for smaller projects but is limited when it comes to bigger or more complicated projects.

Pros: Ability to design a process to work transfer of files and ability to debug while creating allows for a great follow through on finalizing the project or adding in new actions.

Cons: For what my application use is for this not much to negate against it.

Overall: The application presents a great tool and asset for users or organizations who are looking to support or change older systems that require a large amount of overhead in scripting. If nothing else is used, then its great fresh start to have as a tool in an organization to support actions needed by internal or external entities.

Pros: Ease of use, flexibility, functionality, number of features that are offered, customer support quality.

Cons: There aren't many things I don't like about GoAnywhere. Anytime that I have had things I would like added or changed in the past, their customer support team was quick to help resolve the issue or it was implemented as a new release offering soon afterwards.

Overall: GoAnywhere MFT is a fantastic product and team. I would absolutely recommend them for an MFT solution.

Pros: Extremely good with advance work Flow. I like web user interface. I also like database key management. There are lots of good thing this product.

Cons: Does not support some DNS name in IP Filter. ex xxxxx-xxxx if it is xxxxxxxx then works ok

Overall: Good. It has been good experience with this product. So far it is very good. Support has been very good when I need help.
