    "Excellent static web host at no cost"

    Pros: Free to use and really simple.
    Host your static webpage for free.
    Hosted directly from GitHub repository.

    Cons: Doesn't support any scripting language like php, python.

    Overall: I have been using GitHub Pages for hosting my portfolio website for 3 years now. It has 100% uptime , costs 0 - you can simply commit your code in project repository and enable GitHub Pages on the project.
