About GateKeeper Enterprise
Passwordless, proximity login to PCs, Macs, websites, and desktop applications. Hands-free, wireless 2FA and password manager through active proximity-detection. IT admins can dynamically allow users to log in to their computers and websites with a physical key either automatically, by touch, by pressing Enter, or with a PIN. Seamlessly login, switch users, switch computers, and logout without passwords, touch, or trouble - just a key. Once a user walks away, the computer will lock, blocking access to the computer and web passwords. With continuous authentication, users are always being checked to ensure that they require access. No more typing passwords.
Admins and compliance can now automate password security from a central admin console: enforce stronger passwords, enforce 2FA, and give employees the power of password-free login without interrupting workflow. Reduce helpdesk tickets related to forgotten passwords/password resets. Login and auto-lock with proximity.

"Automatic lock for all computers!" Posted 2020-04-27
Pros: We have computers that are left unlocked when employees are away from their computers. Telling people to simply lock their computers isn't a 100% guarantee - but this key fob is since it automatically locks all the computers when people leave. This has made security much stronger overnight without people doing anything extra. Also, it doubles as a password vault that automatically logs you in to your websites too!
Cons: No immediate cons. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's certainly not cheap but there are reports showing exactly how much time, money, and keystrokes were saved so that's pretty cool.
Overall: Transformed how we felt about "logging in" to things. Every new password we have to tell people to use is another point of friction - not anymore. Using a wireless password key has changed our lives for the better. Also, even if we lose a key, we can disable the key from the database instantly and there's also no data on the key itself - so that puts our minds at ease.

"Proximity login and lock for PCs makes life so much easier." Posted 2020-04-16
Pros: - Logs in instantly to computer, then website - saves so much time.
- Hands-free login is great when you're hands are covered in something.
- Never typing a password when logging in to our computers and websites.
- Wireless login and lock means our data is secure and employees can get more work done.
- No one has forgotten a password since we started using proximity login.
- No need to share passwords anymore with employees that don't need them.
- Employees can log in however they want (some use automatic login and some use "touch to login" which is easier than swiping a card)Cons: - Would like more integrations with desktop software.
- Would like to secure passwords on our phones as well.Overall: The new, faster way of logging in using a wireless key is brilliant. We get to work faster than ever. Passwords are the biggest pain and we prefer to not deal with them at all and GateKeeper makes that possible. We tried another password manager but we prefer using a key. Also, most of us are not very keen on using fingerprints or facial recognition. We'll never go back to manually typing passwords again.

"GateKeeper makes workplace security a snap to implement!" Posted 2020-04-11
Pros: - Easy implementation
- Combo of hardware + software
- Value (!)
- Customer support (we're a small customer that feels like their biggest)
- Customer education (cybersecurity is not an easily explained concept across an org, but the GK team made sure we had both training & resources to train others)Cons: - User analytics are helpful but could be more robust
- UI of account dashboard could be easier to navigate
- Would love more integrations with other stacks to map all endpointsOverall: GateKeeper has made it easy for our small team to implement the security we need to serve our customers. The hardware was thoughtfully designed by humans that understand the range of human error in the workplace.

Implementation was a great experience. Whatever wasn't intuitive within the software product, those onboarding gaps were filled by their BTO team.
