Pros: The free version, where you could get better value than investing a bomb as an SMB and dealing with their pathetic service.

Cons: Zero value add, zero customer experience. Didn't meet their SLAs and didn't bother to compensate for lost time and money of the customer.

Overall: We invested in G2 enterprise where they claimed a bunch of things, and how traffic from G2 as well as leads would increase significantly. None of that has happened, especially after investing a huge 9k USD. What was worse- no customer support, no account manager to take care of the account, having to invest additional time and resources in making them understand what our solution is because they will decide which category you belong. The list of frustrations go on. Strongly recommend against any business using them to avoid regretting later.

Pros: I use G2, along with SourceForge, to obtain qualify recommendations for software selections I need to make for my business. G2 is super helpful for this purpose.

Cons: The technology with G2 is more flashy than SourceForge, but it leads to more bugs and less reliability than SourceForge.

Overall: Overall the software is effective for software research purposes and I’d recommend using it along with SourceForge.

Pros: I have done 3 reviews on total for surveys for G2 that market to give honest feedback and proof with photos of your account and how you’ve used a certain app or company’s product for years. I have done everything honestly and submitted everything wasting about 10-15 per survey NOT INCLUDING ALSO THE AFTER CUSTOMER REVIEW SURVEY FOR ANOTHER FEW MINUTES to only be told later they will not give the gift card.

Cons: Everything is lies and deceit with this company. No gift card is provide do have tried this a few times over a course of two years once in a while submitting survey reviews and patiently waiting for my gift card. I only review honest company products I used for a year or two and how it’s implemented in my business work or in school during college and none ever gets a gift card after saying it will. This customer service you contact afterwards to help on contact us just ignores you after they ask you to complain I have two proof of these emails from tech customer support that NEVER HELPS! 5 people I know at work also told me G2 is a scam and they’ve never got gift cards after the reviews! They need to be shut down

Overall: Bad bad bad and horrible! Shut down your company or do something about your deceitful marketing lies of fake gift cards.

Pros: It has detailed reviews of many softwares and helps users in determining which would best fit their needs.

Overall: Overall an average experience with the G2 team. Selective reviews and not very friendly support from them.

Pros: G2 is another good service like few others to have good and reliable lead sources for software buying and selling. It has a plenty of data available on the site with multiple software listings and their reviews.

Cons: Searching software and required product sometimes does not work properly.

Overall: Overall G2 is renowned name in software industry and provides a good lead service for sellers and buyers of technology.

Pros: My work includes a lot of paid software, so now and then I have to see reviews before buying the best software out there in the market. So I have used TrustRadius, G2, and SourceForge for this, with honestly SourceForge provides better insights than these two.

Cons: Even though there are a huge number of reviews on G2 but reviews on G2 are very brief and few reviews do not have a lot of grammatical errors.

Overall: Nevertheless, the interface and presentation of the website do look but, a few of the content is not that good, moreover, they do not provide review access from a normal Gmail account which is also hectic and it takes nearly a month to get your review live.

Cons: The support is really poor and of no actual help, i have faced many issues which are unresolved to this date even after lengthy conversations with support staff.

Reviews are rejected without any proper explanation - I have written genuine detailed reviews which have been rejected with the same response.

Overall: My personal experience with G2 has been bad but overall it is an easy to use review platform where you can discover new business softwares and find user reviews.

Overall: G2 is one of the best software review platforms and has been upgrading and adding features to keep up with the market. It is a rich portal well suited for professionals, analysts and buyers.

Pros: I like its A to Z availability of all software available along with all around customer care service.

Cons: I have been enjoying its services since last 6 months and I did not find anything to dislike about.

Overall: I download any software through G2 community. I often ask technical questions to their team and their response is terrific. Recently, G2 launched software review system offering each user up to $25.
