Detect and locate human faces within an image, and returns high-precision face bounding boxes.Face⁺⁺ also allows you to store metadata of each detected face for future use. Check the likelihood that two faces belong to the same person. You will get a confidence score and thresholds to evaluate the similarity. Use Face⁺⁺ Detect API to detect faces within images, and get back face bounding box and token for each detected face. You can pass the face token to other APIs for further processing. Detect API also allows you to get back face landmarks and attributes for the top 5 largest detected faces. All APIs can be used for free, and you can flexibly upgrade to paid service according to your business volume by Pay As You Go service or QPS solution. SDK licensing options are also available on various devices. Face⁺⁺ allows you to easily add leading, deep learning-based image analysis recognition technologies into your applications, with simple and powerful APIs and SDKs.

    "False Claims, Useless Results – Misleading Company"

    Pros: Nothing worth noting. The interface is superficially clean, but that’s meaningless when the core product is fundamentally flawed and scientifically inaccurate. The technology is poorly executed, and the team does not respond to serious inquiries or criticism.

    Cons: Everything about the service is misleading. MEGVII claims to offer photorealistic age progression, but the result is generic morphing—not structural modeling. There’s no craniofacial accuracy, no scientific foundation, and no reliability. It's nothing more than a cosmetic transformation. Total waste of time.

    Overall: My experience with MEGVII’s tools was a total disappointment. They advertise themselves as cutting-edge AI, but what they really offer is a morph-based gimmick that completely ignores bone structure, age realism, or biology. Their customer support is unresponsive, and their results are completely unusable if you’re looking for anything beyond surface-level effects. Not recommended for professionals or anyone who values precision.
