    "Excellent team integration tool"

    Posted 2022-10-02

Pros: Confluence provides millions of integration and collaboration tools between teams to contribute to each other on important work projects. I like the fact that its platform is an open space to create an exchange of ideas and labor participation to put together marketing campaigns, commercial projects, brand management, strategy planning or whatever we need to do. It allows us to prioritize and put all our ideas in order, traceability allows us to follow up our product step by step, in addition to the fact that thanks to the forums and the creation of reports we have been able to make everything clear and captured to correctly follow the workflow, marked route to achieve the completion of each of our projects. With Confluence we have achieved that all work teams, regardless of the work area, can participate and contribute to each part that makes a project essential, in this way we save a lot of work and time, we can all advance in a single plane, keeping constant the development of our work. Being able to access from our cell phone is important to be able to supervise work progress or collaborate when needed and not in the office, having this has been essential. The cost is also quite comfortable and fits perfectly to what we need.

Cons: The interface can be a bit boring, it would be ideal to have more customization power, edit the background or structure, since it is a bit complicated to find the tools that we need to use, as well as the creation of pages, we do not know how to control the creation much of these and makes the panel too dense, having a better guide and documentation of each aspect of the platform would greatly facilitate understanding and use. Also, when editing documents, the options are limited, it does not provide model templates and the fonts are very few, sometimes we need to expand our possibilities. Until now these have been the limitations that we have had at work, the rest regarding functionality and the real usefulness of the platform has undoubtedly been good.

Overall: Collaborating within the work team, brainstorming and each area of the company being able to contribute the corresponding assignments makes our work truly valuable, we no longer need to wait so long for each department to make the necessary arrangements to continue, now we can move forward at the same time, viewing the status of the project at all times and dynamically sharing everything we need to do from a single space, making changes just in time and avoiding errors in the final product. With Confluence, the communication of the work team within the company has improved significantly and without a doubt we have obtained very well-prepared final projects, marketing campaigns that achieve our objectives, projects delivered according to plan, this is undoubtedly a success for our company, not only achieving our goals collaboratively, but also having obtained Confluence that will continue to accompany us throughout our work to continue achieving our goals by leaps and bounds.

    "Fully featured documentation platform "

    Posted 2022-07-31

Pros: - tons of features for creating and organizing documentation
    - rich text and media embedding support
    - works well with other Atlassian products like JIRA

    Cons: - poor performance
    - making simultaneous changes to a page means that half finished changes are often published
    - very poor search functuonality
    - documentation on this platform tends to balloon out of control as it does not constrain the users enough. Almost too many options.

Overall: Confluence provides a feature packed platform for writing and sharing documentation. However, its open-endedness tends to lead to disorganized messes and it has a very poor search system.

    "Great place to have information"

    Posted 2022-06-21

Pros: Confluence is a great place to have information quickly accessible for reading and is great for having lots of storage space.

Cons: There are little to no features to help separate sections and is not the easiest to navigate.

Overall: Overall Confluence is a great product for the price. It will do the job effectively and the support team is wonderful.

    "Super useful with multiple functions"

    Posted 2022-01-12

Pros: It's nice to be able to have one platform for all parts of an engineering company. Being able to create a page from scratch without need for code or developer knowledge is nice.

Cons: Sometimes the wiki pages can get a little crazy to find or edit. If you don't know the name of what you are looking for, it can be really hard to find. The wiki pages can get a little confusing when trying to set them up.

Overall: I think that, while it has its quirks, it is a very useful tool that is versatile and fairly easy to use. Everyone in the company is able to utilize it to their needs in some way.

    "Amazing and Powerful product"

    Posted 2021-07-09

    Pros: Easy to use.
Plenty of integration in the cloud version.
All in one product, if you need an integration Probably confluence have it.

    Cons: Pretty hard to configure.
Text formatting structure "standard" - no cute presentation.

Overall: Overall we love the product, it's simple to use and if you need to share information between members or teams it's easily searchable.
That said, be sure to start with a good structure.

"Confluence is great for organizing files"

    Posted 2021-04-21

Pros: Confluence seems to me to be a very suitable program for my work, and my results confirm this; with it, I can have very positive editing options. In addition to having many theme features with customization influences that encompass colorful themes. It is fundamental because it has a platform that adapts to the management of files, either heavy or light. Another critical factor is its flexibility and variety; it allows me to have very suitable templates for every circumstance and type of client.

Cons: The interface is not very graphical, it does not include novelty in its movements, that is to say, it is a little outdated, it is nothing serious but it would be encouraging to update its image. It would also be great if they implemented an alphabetical order in each of its pages, this would facilitate the search.

Overall: Our company has implemented it as a unique tool to provide employees with the ability to obtain information through documentation received from third parties, customers, or internally. It is effortless to access and lives up to its functionalities. We can also have the admission of budgets and financial follow-ups; it is perfect and powerful. So it would be great to adapt it to your business, as long as the demand for its functions is a given. It is also ideal because it is compatible with mobile devices, making it much more exciting and convenient.

"Confluence is one of Atlassian's most cost-effective services"

    Posted 2021-03-26

Pros: With Confluence functionalities it is possible to add all kinds of comments to the management of our project colleagues, and in case we don't want to, we can provide privacy settings so that our work information is visible only to us and some specific people. Confluence has easy to schedule notifications. Confluence is the most specialized digital project work tool in the area, and we recommend it for the good progress it represents to connect it to other project platforms, usually those that are also part of Atlassian's collection of applications. We recommend reviewing its catalog to discover integrations.

Cons: Confluence does not make it possible to work on the project while communicating with our colleagues, which creates limitations by not providing real-time feedback among the team, which could eventually cause confusion and mismatches with delivery times, among other problems. Confluence also does not use SSL encryption prospects.

Overall: Confluence is a great success in creating an organized and well-structured work environment where everyone involved in the project can state their various points of view on the work, and open discussion sessions can be created where everyone can add their thoughts on those points of view.

"Great for team projects that allows the employee to track job status"

    Posted 2021-01-02

Pros: We use Confluence to keep an eye on jobs. Each employee can access their team's task specifications, see what their individual duties are, and also inspect them when finished. It displays in real time what has actually been done and what is left to finish. Each team member can take notes, connect web links or anything related to the project to let others know what they have done.

Cons: It is not extremely easy to use, make the most of the tutorials. The log analyzer can sometimes treat signs and symptoms, but it may not see the root cause of a problem with the system.

Overall: Unless you want to pay for a higher service fee, expect a few days' return with the simple answers and also some additional time to proceed with the most difficult fix. We chose to use the cheapest customer service fees and we also tend to find answers online from discussion forums faster than we get answers from Confluence Assistance.
