    "Great Drawing Tool for Technical Reports"

    Pros: Great array of symbols and drawing to support pulling technical diagrams together. All of the ones I needed come as part of the package. Embedding text can be a bit tricky, but once the rules are understood it gets a lot easier. Transfer to PowerPoint and other packages is sound and works well, as does creating PDFs of drawings.

    Cons: Text can be a bit tricky to auto size and scale when moving things around.
    Very large directory of symbols, pictures and shapes so sometimes need care when searching for something particular.

    Overall: Works well and integrates well.
    Great selection of symbols, shapes & pictures, some you need to pay extra for, but these tend to be very specific subjects.
    Speed is great, so no delays in laying down a drawings, even when they get a bit busy.

    "Expect to buy a new version when Mac upgrades"

    Pros: Good graphics program. The ability to export to a tiny editable power point version is unique. I create very large technical diagrams. This software is well suited for this.

    Cons: I bought version 12 and it stopped working when Mac when to Catalina.
    Then I bought version 13 and it stopped working when Mac went to Big Sur.
    Now, they want me to buy version 14 to make it work.

    Overall: Good, if you don't mind spending the money every year to year and a half. Version 12 stopped working with Catalina, Version 13 stopped working with Big Sur. They want me buy 14 - but I wonder how long it will work.
