Canix

Pros: Detailed and surprisingly intuitive and easy to use. My team and I use it daily to assist with state mandated Metrc. Very responsive and helpful support staff is a definitely a welcome change from other services.

Cons: It would be nice if it was just a bit less expensive but it’s not cost prohibitive.

Overall: Perfect to use alongside Metrc. It is very intuitive and easy to use. The reporting aspects are definitely helpful.

Pros: The idea of it pulling the correct information from your source package and having a premade template for everything you need.

Cons: It did not pull certain information over i.e Harvest Dates, it also wouldn't let you freely size text boxes which made the label look very standard. You also could not use a different font.

Overall: Program needs some bugs fixed but overall could be very useful, I have also created Metrc Tags through Canix and it works great.

Pros: Task tracking/ assigning, the app and the ability to always look things up, the easiness of Canix app and desktop, quick and communicative customer service. The list honestly goes on and on.

Cons: At this time there are currently no cons for us.

Overall: We LOVE Canix. Canix is way more user-friendly than metric and is a one stop shop that allows you to not only submit everything straight to metric but also track things on a higher level. We love that you have the ability to assign and manage tasks, as well as keep track of inventory. Canix has changed the game for us. They really strive to make every companies experience personalized to make the most of it to truly work smarter and not harder.

Pros: They are quick to reach and have amazing customer service. It also is a lot more user-friendly than Metrc and the APP is above and beyond amazing. Lastly, we love the ability to assign/track daily tasks and inventory.

Cons: There are currently no cons for us at this time. Any glitch we get Canix is very fast to fix.

Overall: Canix is always willing to help tailor your experience to help it work best for you and your company.

Pros: Canix has more power in selecting large qty. of items at one time. The "harvest all filtered" is very useful when you need to harvest thousands of plants at one time! Metrc cannot do this. I like the sales order function and auto fill of directions to destination. Driver and vehicle interface functions. There are plenty of good features. Tech support is quick to help with any questions or concerns.

Cons: While Canix is above some others, I do not know a system that can efficiently handle the large qty. of harvests we need to do at one time. Packaging and finalizing harvests still works better in Metrc.

Overall: I recommend Canix for its extra invoicing features if nothing else. Inventory features are strong and can help you manage your business.

Pros: - Very convenient to use.
- Great support service.
- Interface and features are easy to learn and navigate, and they provide training.
- Flexible interface (you can easily edit and save the way you want to view your data).
- Provides a wide variety of customizable reports that you can generate.
- Allows you to setup your own recipes and processes.

Cons: Here are the cons in the period that we have used the system (Q2 2022):
- No medical sales portal yet. (still being built)
- CRA reporting and Excise duties (still being built)

Overall: In the period we have used Canix, we would say that it is a great seed to sale system. It captures the essentials that a cannabis business would need to track and record their data. It is user friendly, which will greatly aid in training and make work efficient. Since they are just starting out in the Canadian market, some features are still being made to cater to their Canadian customers.

Pros: We have used Canix at our production facility for just over a year and have to say we love it. Canix is easy to use and speeds up a lot of daily tasks. There is also great support when you have a question or need assistance. Our sales department loves it and would highly recommend it to any other licensed and regulated production facility.

Cons: Would love to see a button where you can update the account info opposed to having to make a new customer if the buyer changes.

Overall: We use Canix at our production facility and love it. I am on the sales side and it make purchase orders much easier. Also great for keeping track of inventory and accounting .

Pros: The platform is easy to use, and has a lot of very helpful features compared to the standard track and trace system. It really allows cultivators to customize information to their specific set up.

Cons: Some of the custom views can be difficult to set up in the beginning.

Overall: We’ve had an excellent experience with Canix, and really appreciate their weekly check ins. They really work with customers to fix and little errors you may encounter, and to work with you on new features you’d like to see added.

Pros: Great response time and great people, I never had any problems that weren’t fixed in a timely manner.

Cons: Nothing, Canix is great and I have no complaints.

Overall: I love Canix and would recommend them over any other POS system. Really great staff and great people.

Pros: Whenever we are creating invoices it's really straightforward, also for harvesting plants it works great.

Cons: Does not integrate well with Metrc or doesn't reload right away.

Overall: Overall Canix is good but in some arias, I believe it can be improved on refreshing the same day and for making packaging.

Pros: - Continuous product updates.
- Good customer experience.
- Receptive and efficient in shipping new tools.
- Grown with industry and has iterated accordingly.
- Good leadership and technical engineering ability.
- Pleasant user interface and easily trainable.

Cons: - Licensing based cost structure in license intensive regulatory environments can make somewhat expensive.

Overall: We’ve been fortunate to be an early adopter of Canix. Seeing the application and software flourish in that time has been great to observe as a customer and has saved Ladybug Farms and our group 1000’s of hours and an immense amount of compliance related costs with the mobile and desktop system. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Very user-friendly, easy to search for things and customize, and much better than the previous program we were using.

Cons: Glitches, not syncing with METRC, timing out. Canix would save a METRC tag in "unsubmitted" if it timed out or couldn't sync with METRC, but the only action available in the unsubmitted tab was to delete the packages. Very unhelpful.

Overall: Canix was quick and easy to use when it worked, but towards the end it became increasingly frustrating to use due to their issues with timing out and not being able to sync with METRC.

Pros: Canix has great interfaces with other business software. The Oklahoma mandated Metrc software is not user friendly. Canix makes creating orders, tracking payments and creating transfers a breeze. Then with the touch of a button, it all syncs to Metrc. We also use a LeafLink interface on the marketing side. I appreciate that Canix can also interface with Quickbooks.

Cons: When we first started using it, it seems to be more grower driven. The support team has been responsive to our small processor needs and helped us develop a smooth workflow for our business.

Overall: The support team is very proactive with solving day to day issues. They are quick to respond if we have an immediate need. There have been very few down time issues.

Pros: Customer service and features such as work flow and lab result visibility are great for both internal users and customers. It integrates to Metrc very well.

Cons: No cons to this product in my opinion. I don't have any issues with it.

Overall: I've used Canix in the Oklahoma market for about 2-3 years now and I highly recommend it other marijuana grow facilities. Their team is always pushing out improvements and answers questions quickly when help is needed.

Pros: Canix made Metrc EASY! From batch tags, to plant tags to bluetooth integration with my scale during harvest to quick and helpful customer service (some of the best I've ever received). It kept records and was easily searchable for tags I needed to identify. The bar code scanning made it so easy to do whatever I needed!

Cons: The only con I would say is the last year or so the fraud transfer manifest didn't really work. I had to do all that in Metro. However, I didn't reach out for support as it was a pretty easy task to do in Metro anyway...

Overall: Overall Canix is great! The best feature is their customer service, they respond quick and issues can be solved quickly as to not slow down the flow of the task at hand.

Pros: This system is attempting to tackle the complicated relationship between raw flower goods, and the packaging materials required to make them retail ready finished goods. Having all of this in one place is huge.

Cons: Most processes perform a little clunky. There are hitches, such as returning packaging material to inventory if a finished goods tag is canceled etc. It seems there needs to be more real-world experience combined with developers to achieve what they are after.

Overall: Overall, this is generations beyond running the several different databases need to accomplish comprehensive inventory. I cannot speak for the accounting functions, but production needs some definite tweaking. While we are unable to rely upon the data in the system, it does serve as a good broad sword for quick reporting.

Pros: The ease of creating templates that alleviates the pain of manually doing so in Metrc is very useful.

Cons: There can be lags in the system that cause disruptions in workflow.

Overall: I enjoy the platform more than others that I have used in the past. The team at Canix is resourceful and offers solutions to day-to-day issues that occur.

Pros: The support is excellent. Our team has a regularly scheduled meeting with our Canix Customer Success Manager. Any issues we have we pass along to our success manger and in the rare case they can not solve the issue they pass them along to correct Canix Team who can.

The UI is also excellent, it is far better than almost any alternative I have seen.

Cons: You get what you pay for. The price of the service is high, but I believe it is worth it.

Overall: I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a simple but comprehensive solution for seed to sale tracking for a cultivation and extraction company.

Pros: -Great customer service
-adding features as time goes on
-Invoicing works very well
-the printing labels feature works well with the addition of templates

Cons: - A lot of the features are either just Metrc features, or things that Metrc does better (plants, harvests, inventory[we actually still prefer excel, non-canna inventory works but we haven't rolled it out yet], and sales reporting tools could be better
- Sold on the mobile tagging feature, but unless you can do batch changes its worthless over anything more than a 200ct grow
-printing is still a little weird, the display and the printed copy do not match in the slightest - and so it takes a little trial and error to get it to look right. also setting up new computers with the printers is still a pain

Overall: Would like to see updates on new features, and smoothing over the features that don't work to get us to use them.

Pros: Makes everything easier, from compliance to sales.
Helps with having things organized in the system.

Cons: When submitting it will take too long to go through the system.

Overall: Easy to use , makes work easier and has a lot of features for short cuts.
Easy to learn on how to use.
