"Better than Postman" Posted 2025-10-09
Pros: Bruno doesn't store (steal) my information via the cloud. I can work locally, and more importantly with Git. We used to struggle trying to version Postman collections in Git because they intentionally make it difficult so you buy their $$$ paid version. Bruno does this all natively as everything is just a text file.
Cons: There are some UI/UX issues, but nothing that derailed me from making it my daily driver
Overall: What these guys are doing is really important. I've never seen a company turn against developers the way Postman has. Bruno seems to (potentially to their detriment) be on a mission to create a simple API client that just works for devs.
