"Works For What It Is" Posted 2023-05-18
Pros: Easy to get through their 7 steps.
Client does not need much information to get started.
Results have been in line with actual business sales.Cons: UI is a bit outdated.
Other than that not really any cons.Overall: Helped keep clients happy and win a couple for me so overall I am happy with it. It would be great to have more marketing support.

"THEY BREACHED THEIR CONTRACT WITH ME" Posted 2022-06-28
Pros: The aggregation of valuations of companies by NAICS code. The geographical map feature is pretty good, although there is not an easy way to aggregate the data into a spreadsheet and sort it.
Cons: Much out of date contact and corporate data, missing emails of top executives who are the natural market for this service, rather than lower administrative staff or .info emails.
Overall: Very disappointed in their breach of contract with me.

I was told by a former employee of BizEquity that I could continue on a month to month basis after paying the first annual subscription. Since I am now long past normal retirement age, I wanted to continue on a month to month basis and be able to cancel on 30 days notice. The month to month policy was changed without notice to me after he left the company, and I am now stuck paying for an annual subscription for a service I no longer need or use. Here is their response to my request for cancellation:
"Hey Gary,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your feedback, as I am sorry to hear about the frustration on this. I understand that your initial agreement with Jack had the condition for month to month in place but due to the cancellation of this initial agreement, we are unfortunately not able to honor that month to month commitment with the new, current contract as that is not part of our standard subscription offering.
While I understand your frustration on this, I can assure you that we will be able to terminate your subscription at the end of your current term as I understand that you are no longer looking to use the service going forward.
Hope this helps clarify and apologies again for the confusion on this.
Regards,
Kevin"
Not much of a response is it? Nothing like Costco or Home Depot, is it? You are stuck with an annual contract, no matter what happens to you. Be very careful and read the fine print.
