"Quality software is easy to use"

    Posted 2021-04-04

Pros: We have resolved the disconnect between estimation and production. Production no longer needs to rely on hand drawings, and now know exactly where to repair.

Cons: I hope there are more items in my career list. I hope there are more cabinet options, but I also hope not to load everything into my own page. When you upload a file, it will be nice when it is returned as a file instead of a separate file for each page.

Overall: We have reduced the repetitive processing of drawings, improved the accuracy of on-site quotations, improved the quality of customers’ initial design sketches, and reduced our management costs.

"“ArcSite - The Floor Plan Generator”"

    Edited 2021-04-02

Pros: The user interface and functionality is exceptional in depicting an accurate floor plan. The fact that the in field constructed drawing can seamlessly export to CAD is one of the greatest perks.

Cons: I have found that the blocks must be scaled constantly and do not populate at the scale they were drawn in. This limits the functionality some. However, this is a minor inconvenience and ultimately would just be an added luxury given the softwares current capabilities.

Overall: It has been industry changing. Our company's ability to utilize the product to construct quick and accurate floor plans seems unmatched. This tool, in my opinion, is the main factor.

    "Good"

    Posted 2021-04-02

Pros: This software has a lot of things I need, I can find what I need in it, I like it very much, very good.

Cons: But there are a lot of shortcomings. Sometimes I get stuck and have the experience of quitting. This experience makes me very unhappy.

Overall: Overall, I like this software very much, but I hope it can make up for its shortcomings. I hope you can do better.

    "Easy to use software"

    Edited 2021-04-02

Pros: This is an excellent application, mainly used to draw field diagrams. With it, we can quickly create building drawings for our building inspection reports.

Cons: Full functionality usually doesn't work-if there is a small broken line in the shape, the color will fill everything around it. Can you make a button in the shape of a stamp?

Overall: This is a good product, very easy to take measures on the job site, perfect for starting layout...or moving to the Cad application...directly in-house has many advantages.

    "Good value for money"

    Edited 2021-04-02

Pros: Engineering drawings can be easily imported and calibrated as long as an existing PDF is available. Easy to measure and enter simple planning information. I used it instead of a Landscape Architecture on many sites when laying out projects. It has become preferred, especially for larger projects, as I can upload all layout drawings and construction details for quick reference on the job site. It is also easy to create quick workshop drawings on site and easily create PDFs with dimensions.

Cons: Unable to write DWG files directly to ArcSite. The transition from design to ArcSite might be easier if the application could create usable files directly from DWG. In addition, occasional crashes occur when using custom symbols created in the application.

Overall: Overall, this is a good tool for a live wok. I was also able to draft quick, simple ideas for the client by using shapes to "erase" parts of the base PDF and show them in ways that might be different, so that the client could see the potential changes.

    "ArcSite User Experience"

    Posted 2021-04-01

Pros: It's very simple and easy to use. Custom objects are very useful. I like the ability to import photos, calibrate them and then measure the distance to there - I can now quickly take snapshots of building fire plans or paper building plans, etc., and make most measurements on site without having to measure things separately. Also, if I forget to measure it, I can still get it back to the office. It can also be useful on the sales side to help customers quickly plan what to get or what to get done.

Cons: Full functionality usually doesn't work - if there's a tiny break in the shape, the color will fill in everything around it. Can you make a button in the shape of a seal? You should be able to create a subshape folder in Creative Shapes. For example: tables, chairs, plants and so on... Add more colors or color wheel adjustments to the color, such as the color wheel. Add the subcategory folder to the project - Distinguish the project type. Adding the Bosch Laser Meter to Bluetooth and making it seamless - measuring 2-3 times and allowing each measurement to overwrite the previous value -Bosch provides free software for this, but the user interface is terrible. Allow free sharing of custom shape libraries! There is no additional charge for up to 3 users. Add 3D options - make it easy.

Overall: Rich experience in paperless and able to file all engineering drawings to a computer for easy viewing.

    "Easy to use software"

    Posted 2021-04-01

Pros: Arcsite allows me to create custom engineering drawings that can be scaled and scaled for my clients. Engineering drawings can help customers get comfort in terms of product appearance and performance

Cons: When I came back 20 minutes later, I not only found that it failed to upload, but also restored to the unedited graphics. I believe this problem has been solved because it has been a while.

Overall: Updates have been made to improve my ability to provide professional and accurate engineering drawings to clients. Very satisfied customer, I use Arcsite every day.

    "My View on ArcSite"

    Edited 2021-04-13

Pros: Just what I need, the software eye to receive, easy to operate. Very suitable for the scene measuring ruler, the plane is not good expression can be photographed and retained, the software idea is very good, greatly convenient for the designer.

Cons: If you want to go directly to the professional version of the file to upgrade, into the background picture special blur, and monthly solution.

Overall: The part of CAD feels very good, but lacks doors and Windows, can paint a wall only, the function is onefold. If in the CAD line draft on the basis of adding some functions will be more perfect.

"ArcSite is fast and easy to use"

    Posted 2021-04-01

Pros: Being able to take a picture, annotate it, place it on a graph, and then generate an indexed photo contact table linked to the floor plan has given me a lot of benefit in using this feature for structural evaluation reports. It saves me a lot of time to go back to the office when I'm working on my report. The drawing feature is also the best implementation of any iPad application I've used, and allows for the actual preparation of usable CAD files on the spot.

Cons: For this 99% perfect object, there is nothing to say about moving some blocks when zooming in/out very little.

Overall: Using this application can make us more efficient. As time goes by, we become more accurate, faster and more efficient.

    "Easy to use application"

    Edited 2021-04-02

Pros: I really like using this software on the iPad and drawing architectural sketches in the field. The ability to change the size and let the software automatically adjust other walls at the same time is excellent. The software is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons: The drawing of the project itself may be a bit flawed, especially when you are just getting started. Sometimes when you adjust the size of the wall, it does not behave as expected. You must pay attention to the dimensions around the problematic walls to ensure that they do not change in unexpected ways. In addition, if you need to snap the predefined blocks to a specific point, placing the predefined blocks in them can also be challenging. Price is a bit expensive.

Overall: There really is no better choice than this. Over the years, I have evaluated many iPad drawing programs, and in my opinion, they are not comparable in terms of functionality or ease of use.
