"Outstanding customer service " Edited 2024-10-17
Pros: I use Antique Soft in my 36,000 sq.ft. antique mall. I also have consignment and new merchandise included in and old general store.
This software does so much! It keeps inventory for all vendors and does lots of management reports. I can not say enough good things about the men who answer every call to customer service!! They are professional, caring, friendly and solve my problems. Someone who answers the phone immediately has great value to me!Cons: Like anything new, there is a learning curve, but this was easy to get started with.
Overall: Outstanding service and a good price!! Easy to use, and has lots of features to help you run your business. My 140+ vendors love it too!

"Horrible " Posted 2021-12-09
Pros: This single handedly is the worst software out there. It is as old as the antiques you sell. It utilized Crystal reports that every other business has moved away from around 2015. I have requested per PA small claims court to be refunded for a program we used 30 days and had issues each of those 30 days for a refund per this request I gave them 10 days to respond or move forward with small claims court which I am preparing to do as no one has gotten back to us. Buyer beware move on and find a system that works with Square where you literally plug in and go
Cons: It took days to set up with the company having to take over our computer from PA to NY, we needed to get a static IP address, our vendors could never log onto the system remotely, each issue we had (which was daily) remedy was for them to take over our computer which could only be done after hours as this was our only POS. TWe would come back in the morning after the "repair" and a new issue would arise. We, after two weeks, switched to Rose Consignment that works with Square. We literally plugged it in and we have had zero issues. Antiquesoft is still installed on our computer and although we have paid for it we cannot even log on any longer.
Overall: Was the worst experience and now, although I still have an active license I cannot log on to get information from the 3 weeks we did use it in its limited capability. Customer service and tech support is horrible at its best

"Recent and ongoing installation" Posted 2021-11-19
Pros: NOTHING! Months into this install (on the vendor side) we still don't have a stable, professional Website. The only link vendors have is a non secure IP Address and this after a number of total re-writes!! It really is a POS.
Cons: Customer support hang up on most incoming calls without even talking to them. The Website is unsecured, the mobile usage is very unstable and was the last to be addressed and the layouts are basic if not crude. They need to hire a new group of high school coders.
Overall: A horrible, expensive and stressful experience for all concerned. One expects issues with software and that's normal but hey, its a simple Web driven Excel sheet and they still can't get that right. Crude and basic.

"Terrible software. Servers wont handle traffic" Posted 2021-11-10
Pros: Nothing about AntiqueSoft 6.0 that is worthwhile.
Cons: AntiqueSoft 6.0 is a waste of money and time.
Our local antique mall just switched to this software and it's been a complete nightmare. Errors errors errors. Members can't get on to use only a few times a week if your lucky stay away from this softwareOverall: Terrible. Waste of time and money for antique malls and frustration from users daily. Stay away.

"Poor interface and reliability for vendors" Edited 2021-11-06
Pros: Nothing so far. I have nothing positive to say about this software. I do not recommend it.
Cons: My antique shop implemented this software and it has been a total nightmare. The vendor access web page is offline more often than online. The web page is NOT mobile friendly. It's a total spin of the wheel on whether you can access your report(s). When it errors out, there is not even a user friendly error page but a dump of html code that the programmers should be paying attention to.
Overall: Very poor implementation of a pos software system. Company seems to not be doing a good job of supporting the vendor side of this software.

The worst software option available! Unstable, Not at all user friendly, lacks more than a few basic options/abilities that any responsible business owner should want/need. Save your money, you would be better off using an excel spreadsheet and handling the back office business manually!!!!
