About AhsayCBS

Ahsay Backup Software is specifically designed for Managed Service Providers, System Integrators, or IT Consulting Companies. It enables them to offer secure managed, cloud-hosted, and on-premises backup services to clients and earn a stable recurring income.

The whole solution is built on a client-server architecture:

The server-side centralized management console (AhsayCBS) can be installed on your backup server hosted in your data center or on a cloud platform like Microsoft Azure. We offer a hosted AhsayCBS instance if you don't want to host it.

On the client side, there are three backup agents: AhsayOBM, AhsayACB, and Ahsay Mobile, which you can install on your customers' endpoints and devices. AhsayOBM backs up servers, databases, virtual machines, NAS devices, and Microsoft 365 user accounts as an administrator; AhsayACB backs up files on desktops, laptops, and Microsoft 365 as individual users.

    Pros: Saving both Storage Space and storage cost The Deduplication function helps to save lots of storage and automatically deletes the same files without any selection.

    Cons: Ahsay always pushes patches. I know they have to fix some problems and provide more features but it still creates some works for our IT department.

    Overall: It is a mush to introduce this product to my clients and friends since there are dangers worldwide on the internet. Backup service is important You never find the same service with absolutely competitive price.

    Pros: - can do multiple clients with one price
    - old fashion incremental and/or differential file level backup

    Cons: -no support for Hyper-V
    - no bare metal
    - bandwidth hog

    Overall: Ditched this one after Carbonite for Business came to market. I did the purpose at the time, we were able to have a private cloud backup server with it.
