After successfully completing his apprenticeship as a carpenter, Christian Feiler worked for several years in his learned profession. In order to further increase his wealth of experience, he later took a job as a carpenter and was responsible for the construction of complex wooden structures. By combining both professions, he gained great expertise in the processing of solid wood and wood-based materials as well as in the operation of modern machines.
