About

The NCS 500 Series offers a secure and highly available access-routing platform for service providers. Both fixed and modular form factors support advanced automation and programmability to provide 5G, Remote PHY, Carrier Ethernet, and FTTx. The NCS 540 and NCS 560 are built for 5G with advanced timing, ultra-low latency, and ultra-high capacity. They provide the foundation for pervasive Mobile Broadband (MBB), massive IoT, tactile Internet, smart cities, and AR/VR. Build application-aware networks with segment routing, open and programmable interfaces using NETCONF and YANG data models and APIs, and real-time visibility with streaming telemetry. Intelligently converge network services onto a single platform with the highly scalable and energy efficient NCS 500 Series. Flexibly scale capacity with ports that support 1/10/25/40/100 GbE.

About

There are two ways to look at the brand new Fiber Box Plus. On the one hand, it’s a massive upgrade of our previous FiberBox devices. This version features a modern ARM CPU, more RAM, and four 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports. Fast and reliable connectivity on a budget. Without the distance limitations of Ethernet. There’s also a Gigabit Ethernet port for management purposes or PoE-in powering. We’ve also included a 2-pin terminal and a standard DC jack, so you have 3 different power options to choose from. FiberBox Plus supports a wide input voltage range of 24-57V. And it is remarkably efficient: maximum power consumption (without attachments) is only 7W. Another way to look at the new FiberBox Plus – it’s a budget version of the amazing netFiber 9. You can save a lot of money if you don’t need the extra Gigabit SFP ports. It even features the same impressive Marvell 98DX226S switch-chip, so the performance is definitely there!
