* If you produce large numbers of downloads in some device, system will kill uGet. I will try to fix it in next release.

How to install and run aria2 in local Android device. (2019-03-22 updated)

Aria2Android is one of aria2 server for Android that I tested.

Since uGet 2.0.5 for Android, default of aria2 plugin settings can work with Aria2Android. 

Step 1. Install Aria2 for Android from Google Play. You can start/stop/setup aria2 by GUI.

Step 2. Setup uGet for Android
  2-1. setup uGet aria2 RPC token the same as aria2 server.
  2-2. setup uGet download folder the same as aria2 server.
       (or keep uGet download folder empty.)

e.g. By Aria2Android default values, you should:
  1. set "RPC authorization secret token" to "aria2".
  2. set download folder to "/storage/emulated/0/Download".
