  • The issue was that I installed the app just as it is described. I put the USB into the computer and rebooted and it did nothing but run me in circles. I used both the beta and the stable versions with the same result. The problem was not just with this app, in fact all but the Rescatux did nothing except frustrate me. I watched, I don't know how many videos thinking that I was doing something wrong and the result was the same wasted at least 8 to 10 days seeking to save my data and software. The problem came from dual booting Windows 10 and Ubuntu 14.04 on two separate drives in the same tower. At first, it all went to hell in a handbasket. I went to every website that would pop-up onto my screen when I entered a query into the search engine. I used Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Chrome Developer, Firefox Developer. I was desparate! Finally, I took notice of Rescatux which at first I didn't even know that I had downloaded. So I followed the instructions and watched the video 3 times and did what it said. I went swimmingly easy! The irony of responding to the survey is that all of them were easy to install, they just did not work for me as to what I was trying to do. In this way I can neither condemn or praise it. So, thanks to the developers at long last I have my tower which I built back and running again. I started this process based upon what the pros that I subscribe to on YouTube and on the web.
  • Just what I needed. Thank you Super Grub2 Disk. I dual booted Linux Mint on my PC and couldn't boot into Mint on my boot menu. Flashed Super Grub2 Disk on my USB drive with Rufus, booted into it and I could get into Linux Mint again!
  • must be in all administrators! 5+
  • Excellent. Kick started my OS. So I could re-install grub etc. Thank you.
  • Fixed when all else failed. I was not able to do any commands at the GRUB>. ls, set etc. This program allowed me back in so I could fix grub permanently. Thans Adrian!!!
  • Pretends to be a virus and mocks wiping your hard drive.
  • The five star rating is influenced by SuperGrub2 being the perfect tool for the job. Win10 was installed last on a dual boot system and trampled all things grub. I wanted an easy way much like Homer who wants someone else to do it, and then I found a perfect tool on SourceForge which is probably not as common as one would think. It may be educational, I believe, for one to get down to the 'nuts and bolts' of grub someday. but...I downloaded the ISO and put it on a flash drive and had drinks while it did it's thing. So thank you twice.
