  • Subsonic server allows you to encrypt your server sessions (using https://) to protect the privacy and integrity of your files. To do this, Subsonic uses a certificate, but it is slightly flawed since the certificate can not be tied to a specific IP address. Most times, you accept the "untrusted" certificate once per session and you're good to go. SubAir requires multiple approvals of the "untrusted" certificate for each server request, not the whole session. I am not sure if this is a problem with Adobe Air, or just the coding for SubAir, but it does render the use of SubAir on a secure Subsonic server useless.
