A remote control for the ROKU streaming player using its external interfaces. The remote is built using dashcode and javascript for use on Mac OS X dashboard.
Since this was not compiled with an Apple Auth key (volunteers welcome!), you must explicitly override gate keeper on Mac OS X 10.8 and above. See: http://www.bu.edu/infosec/howtos/bypass-gatekeeper-safely/ .

Love it! This is so simple and amazing it’s ridiculous. And to think the Mac store charges 5 bucks for a Roku remote app that might not even work. This is a blessing. Just download, approve from Security settings, then press the tiny i in the bottom right corner after adding it to dashboard, add the IP address found in Settings > Network > About in Roku, and if Mac and Roku are on the same network, it works. This beats using the iPhone app because the Mac gets better reception, so it’s like having a more reliable remote in your hands. No delay. No issues of any kind. Works as soon as the ip is entered. Awesome

Excellent solution to constantly absconded with remotes! Flawless in OSX 10.11.2 even!
