Out of all the duplicate line removers that I tested today, this one (Remove Duplicate Lines by ahmedfathy) was by far the best. And it truly is "portable" as its description said. It has a simple and efficient GUI. One of my favorite features is: once you have chosen your Input File by browsing, it automatically fills in the Output File conveniently with an extension, so for example, my Input File was "test.txt" and it automatically filled in "test_NoDuplicates.txt" as the Output File, yet still it allowed me to browse and change that default filename if I wanted to, though, I love the default! I would recommend this to anyone. Nice little package, does what it says, and is very convenient and easy to use. I tested its portability by extracting it onto my USB Flash Drive and running the program from there, after I had installed it on my Desktop PC. It ran just as well from my Flash Drive as it ran on my Desktop PC. Note that I have not tested extremely large files with it yet, if I get a chance to test on large files, I will edit my review and mention it. Great job, ahmedfathy!
