QST is an amazing product for organizations and institutions who practice Training and L&D. I am always exploring opensource project for my organization that is relevant to our service delivery and found QST is right choice for us to use which is the part of our service. I was paid by an educational institute to find an open source quiz/exam product for them. After downloading and installing all the ones here and on GitHub, i can safely say the only one that is commercial grade and has the feature set you likely require is QST. All the others have not been updated for many years, do not answer support questions, lack many basic expected features or are feature crippled versions of someones commercial product they are instead trying to sell you. Save yourself the time and try QST before any other solution.

I've got a mission to build a testing program for our group at the company. Looking on the internet and I found the QST app. This app is so great with many functions that I need. Besides, the creator Ivan is so enthusiastic and supports me so quickly if I need a new useful function. Thanks to QST Team for this OP software.

I find it difficult to get the right adjective enough to qualify the developers of this wonderful application. I needed a CBT application for my institution last year and after several search and trying of the different ones available here, I won't mince words to say QST has proved to be the best that does the job excellently well as expected even more than the commercial ones out there. The level of support provided by Mr Ivan is Superb beyond what one can imagine for an Open Source Application. He respond and help resolve all issues I encountered during installation and even my requests for some additional features to suit my purpose was done in no time. Finally, software that does what it says! As they say in their advertising "The new gold standard for open source assessment". I have downloaded and installed all the others, and this one is head and shoulders above the rest. VirtualX, TAO, Kaldin, TcExam, etc. don't even come close to this software. Even their paid version don't compare!

This is a fantastic piece of software, it is really well constructed, easy to use and very powerful with ability top scale. The footprint is very modest and requires minimal resources to get going. The user manual to implement and host is easy to follow with a well thought out instructional design from beginning to end. I am utilizing the software to manage testing and running surveys for my team. The organization is very ethical in its operating model and donate a significant portion through philanthropy to a well known charitable institution. The commitment to it's product is second to none, when I required support the team at QST were more than obliging to assist and resolve the issues displaying courtesy, professionalism and very much a can do attitude. So simple to use, yet such powerful features. A GREAT choice for assessment.

The GradeBook and detailed stats made all the difference for us. We needed something that would do online exams and provide a way to develop students marks (without using a cumbersome Learning Content Management System). The numerous features are fantastic and question branching helps us to determine our students knowledge level. Best of breed!

More features than any other open source exam program I have come across! Nothing to license, can be used commercially. Really great that it includes surveys too.

Great Project!! Was able to demo it to our users without having to download and install. Filled all our users needs and then some.
