Contents

RPMs have been built for four platforms:

rhel5: RHEL/CentOS 5.x
rhel6.0+: RHEL/CentOS 6.0 .. 6.4 (6.5 changes timestamping APIs)
rhel6.5+: RHEL/CentOS 6.5 and above
rhel7: RHEL/CentOS 7.x

Note: 6.0+ RPMs can be used on 6.5+ systems, but not vice versa.

Packages

1) For each platform, two versions have been built:

regular, fully functional ptpd (ptpd-2.3.1...)
slave-only build (ptpd-slaveonly-2.3.1...): slave-only build can be used as a "secure" alternative in environments where the risk of any slave turning into a grandmaster needs to be eliminated. The slave-only build is built with grandmaster code physically excluded from compilation.

2) For each platform and each version, three packages have been built:

source RPM
debuginfo
