Personal Financier is a tool to track expenses by category and then project the impact to the overall budget. Underspending in a given month increases the budget available to use in future months, and overspending reduces it. In this way, the budget adjusts over time to reflect actual spending.
The easiest way to try it out is to use the demo account (password demo) that gets automatically setup on install. Enjoy!

Have a question for the developer. How come i can't use the same name (as a child account). e.g. Let's say I buy Gasoline for my car at "xx service center" i would file this under Transportation/Service Center [Top Level Account / Child Account] If I buy some food at the same service center's food mart, i would like to file this under Food/Service Center....but when i use "service center" as a name i get a "account name is not unique. use another" error I would like to use the same name as a Child Account for Multiple Top Level Accounts if possible. Hope you can understand my question and please advice.
