Pretty much the ONLY ipblocker out there afaic. Takes a little learning to understand how it works but worth it. It'd be nice if someone with the know-how would take this cool little program and modernize it...? ❤ 👍

By far the best and most effective software of it's kind. Truly works and is able to block IP addresses at a very fast rate, regardless of which ports that connections are attempted to be made from any source. Never crashed or hung on me, barely uses 162 MB of RAM. Well written application by it's developer. Very simple interface, yet also easy to customize and configure the settings.

The website is gone, does that mean theres going to be no more updates for Peerblock?

Program seems to work well, invisibly and without noticeable effect on performance. Since late 2015 a small subscription is payable for access to the third-party blocklists that PeerBlock uses.
