INCREDIBLE PBX 2027 ROCKY 8 & ALMALINUX 8 LTS (May 2029)
This new release features the latest Asterisk 20 LTS (Oct 2027) and includes the latest
FreePBX 15 or 16 GPL Modules with support for Incredible SIP Phones and Trunks.
1. Begin by downloading and installing Rocky 8 Minimal. If you prefer AlmaLinux, download and install their minimal image. Or you can create a Cloud image of Rocky 8 or AlmaLinux 8. AMD64-compatible platform required.
2. Issue the following commands after logging into your new server as root:
cd /root
yum -y install wget tar
wget http://incrediblepbx.com/incrediblepbx2027.tar.gz
tar zxvf incrediblepbx2027.tar.gz
rm -f incrediblepbx2027.tar.gz
./IncrediblePBX2027.sh
3. Reboot, login as root, and Automatic Update Utility will load all patches for the platform.
4. If you're using the AlmaLinux 8 platform, issue the following command:
sed -i 's|Rocky 8|AlmaLinux 8|' /usr/local/sbin/pbxstatus
5. If you wish to upgrade FreePBX 15 to FreePBX 16, issue the following command:
/root/upgrade-to-FreePBX16
6. Set your Linux root password: passwd
7. Set your FreePBX admin password: /root/admin-pw-change
8. Set your Apache admin password: /root/apache-pw-change
9. Set your correct time zone: /root/timezone-setup
10. Login to the FreePBX GUI from your browser using your admin credentials.
11. Navigate to Settings -> Asterisk SIP Settings -> SIP Settings (pjsip) and set
Allow Transports Reload = NO. Click SUBMIT and reload when prompted.
