INCREDIBLE PBX 2020.1 FOR CENTOS 7
This release features the latest Asterisk 16 and includes the latest
FreePBX 15 Modules and support for new Incredible SIP Phones and Trunks.
NOTE: The native tarball is suitable for stand-alone platforms and
provides enhanced Asterisk performance. The generic tarball is more
suitable for virtual machine platforms with varying processors. It
also will run reliably on all CentOS 7 platforms.
1. Install CentOS 7 Minimal on a platform of your choice
2. Boot CentOS 7 machine and login to Linux CLI as root
3. Issue command: yum -y install net-tools nano wget tar
4. Download incrediblepbx2020.1.tar.gz to /root
5. Issue the following commands:
cd /root
tar zxvf incrediblepbx2020.1.tar.gz
rm -f incrediblepbx2020.1.tar.gz
# to add swap file on non-OpenVZ cloud platforms with no swap file
./create-swapfile-DO
# kick off Phase I install
./IncrediblePBX2020.sh
6. After Phase I reboot, use SSH/Putty to login to CentOS desktop again
from a desktop PC. Then restart installer: ./IncrediblePBX2020.sh
7. When the install completes, set the admin user password for GUI
access by running: /root/admin-pw-change
8. Set admin Apache password for access to AsteriDex & Reminders
by running: /root/apache-pw-change
9. Set a very secure root password for SSH access. Run: passwd
10. Set the timezone for your server: /root/timezone-setup
11. Then point your browser to the IP address of your server and
login as admin with the password you set in step #6 above
