Incredible PBX for AlmaLinux 9 (BETA VirtualBox image) featuring Asterisk 20 LTS and FreePBX 16 We’ve taken the Incredible PBX build and turned it into a turnkey virtual machine for VirtualBox 6. You can load it in just a few minutes. IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PRODUCTION USE. You get most of the Incredible PBX bells and whistles except Incredible Fax which is not yet available on this platform. Some extensions and trunks are already configured so that you can hit the ground running. There are known bugs with this build. For example, using Module Admin in the FreePBX GUI to update GPL modules does not work. The command line tool isn't much more reliable although reissuing a command multiple times will sometimes load an update. Consider this a Sandbox Edition FOR PIONEERS ONLY. Prerequisite: VirtualBox 6 Adjust screen size in View -> Virtual Screen Download then double-click on the .ova image to install it on your VirtualBox 6 desktop. Default Login Credentials -> User: root PW: password CAUTION: On Windows platforms running VirtualBox, make certain you are using the latest VirtualBox release. ALERT: Many Intel and AMD CPUs still are vulnerable to RetBleed attacks. Always run your server behind a secure firewall with no port exposure to the general public.
