  • Great PNG optimizer! Extremely useful to design web sites, where each bit of info weights a gold.
  • not as good as png gauntlet

  • A wonderful tool that can be left running in the evening with -o7 -zm1-9, and in the morning thousands PNG’s are magically shrunk without quality loss. Run them in parallel terminal to double, triple, quadruple the fun!
  • Very effective even at default settings, and fast too. My favorite PNG optimization tool.
  • Optipng was really good, and it reduced the file sizes of my pngs by a lot

  • Two words: LIGHTNING FAST!
  • I use and love it.
  • This is an excellent tool.
  • This program is great.
  • Great work. Supports a lot of formats.
  • Since the 0.7.0 rewrite, this tool has been fabulous for programmers thanks to the opng_reduce_image() function it provides, and yet I don't think enough people know about it. Just #include "opngreduc.h" and call opng_reduce_image(png_ptr, info_ptr, OPNG_REDUCE_ALL) just before you call png_write_png(). Every program which produces a png file "SHOULD" reduce color depth and palettize whenever possible, and there's no sense in duplicating all of this effort. Thanks for saving me hours.
  • very cool!
  • Ridiculously thorough. Much more advanced than pngcrush.
  • It works.
