Broken under Luna^W Mylyn 3.12 => Will break under Kepler Mylyn SOAP connector no longer ships in Mylyn. Work-around provided on SO: 24484796/problems-in-installing-mylyn-mantis-connector-to-eclipse-luna bugs.eclipse o r g bugs show_bug.cgi?id=421379 MyLyn interface is badly broken under Luna: if you leave a task open, then Eclipse crashes on re-open with an NPE reported by mylyn. Additionally, you cannot update exiting comments/descriptions, etc.

Once set up, it's really helpful to be able to manage your tasks inside Eclipse. Really nice.

Mylyn-Mantis provides support for accessing Mantis BT from within an IDE such as Eclipse, having the Mylyn plugins installed. Given that Mantis BT is now a feature supported in SourceForge.net projects, the Mylyn-Mantis Connector Project makes it even easier to integrate SourceForge into a workflow utilizing the Eclipse IDE -- ideally, at least. On the SF.net side, see also https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/mylyn-mantis/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11
