MicMute is a small program that will enable you to easily manage the level of a connected microphone. The application also supports push-to-talk thanks to the built-in 'Transmitter Mode'. While it runs minimized in the system tray, MicMute? can be controlled trough keyboard shortcuts you choose. The software uses tray notification balloons and it also has a sound signal option you can activate.

It works flawlessly. I always wanted to use a headset that doesn't have a mute microphone button. Setting up a macro to one of my gamer keyboard extra buttons and MicMute, and now I have it. Keep the good work. Advice: remember to never shutdown your PC or quit the app without unmuting your microphone first.

Made a whole account and verified it just to stop others from making the same mistake as me. This app ruined my mic, it turned my mic up to 100% unexpectedly so i killed everyone's eardrums at first. Than after fixing it in the settings, it was never truly the same. Totally cuts out and sounds staticy. I was so happy with this mic up until today, already in the market for a new one.
