README for Kicad3DModels models_v0.3 Files: Description CCR_0W25_J_I400H_1R_20121105.tar.bz2 : Sample output from 'stitchvrml', a tool to merge individual component models into a composite model for use in KiCAD. model_thru_resv_20121101.tar.bz2 : Vertical thru-hole resistors. Deprecated; a mistake in the scripts generated the wrong series numbers. Download correct series from models_v0.4 model_thru_resh_20121101.tar.bz2 : Horizontal thru-hole resistors. Deprecated; a mistake in the scripts generated the wrong series numbers. Download correct series from models_v0.4 model_thru_conn_20121101.tar.bz2 : Thru-hole connectors for now these are: + PCC-SMP + 4UCon vertical headers, Drawing 19950, 3 to 40 pins. model_thru_dipn_20121101.tar.bz2 : 0.3-inch DIL packages, 6 to 28 pins. Notes: With the exception of the PCC-SMP connector, all models here were produced with parametric models of the parts. If you need a part which is related but not offered for download, you may be able to create it if you can build the tools from source code. For example, the DIL model can generate a 0.5" 40-pin DIL and the resistor model can generate cylindrical resistors with different sizes and styles.
