Itemizer 0.22 got a new default look and feel "Nimbus", which seems to be included in all recent Java versions, and even will be default in Java 7, if I'm informed correctly. It looks better than the "Metal" look and feel of the former releases, but the components need more space and so I had to change the UI layout. I'm not quite sure if it's really better, but you can go back to the former v0.21 any time, which is functionally equivalent to v0.22, just with the old look and feel.
To run Itemizer, unzip the itemizer-0_22.zip and execute the start.bat script. If you do not use Windows or if the start script doesn't work, you can try to double click the itemizer.jar file. If you have java 6 properly installed this should start Itemizer, but it doesn't load the plugins (which at the moment only seems to work with the start.bat script).
If you are familiar with the command line interface of your OS, this line should start Itemizer and also load the plugins:
java -classpath plugins;Itemizer.jar itemizer.editor.ItemEditor
