IT DASHBOARD RELEASE 2.2 and 2.3 6/07/2012 Document Revision History Date Submitted : 6/07/2012 Release notes for IT Dashboard 2.2 (5/01/12) and 2.3 (6/05/12) production builds This document outlines new features / enhancements that were added to the existing functionality of IT Dashboard (after Release 2.1) and some of the defects/issues addressed as part of the recent production builds. ------------------------------------ RELEASE 2.2 Deployed May 1st 2012 ------------------------------------ New Features ============ 1. Token expiration after 12 hours Enhancements =========== 1. Restricted /user token authentication tab to be visible for only "submitter" or "admin" user roles 2. Revised the Derived Status logic for classifying types of investments, including adding the "reorganization" status 3. Eliminated/Downgraded page: added Eliminated by Reorganization/Split/Consolidation 4. Non-majors page: added long Derived Status with links to the related investment pages 5. Improved the performance of Investment Trends feed to allow all years to be downloaded together 6. Submission windows: added capability to selectively open Exhibit 53A and/or Exhibit 53B windows 7. PDF Archiving: added the ability to auto-generate public PDFs with the existing Exhibit 300 archiving process 8. Performance Metrics feed: changed the logic for Updated Date to be based on the date of last update to Most Recent Actual Results 9. Cost Variance calculation: changed from "actual - planned" to "planned - actual" 10. Investment Dashboard: changed Performance Metric "Updated Date" to "Updated Date of Most Recent Actual" 11. Portoflio: Improved error-handling for database server errors 12. Exhibit 53 datafeed: added short Derived Status field Defects ======== 1. Fixed various 508 issues on Home, Portfolio and FAQ pages 2. Schedule Variance calculation: fixed an issue with project duration which was affecting schedule variance % calculations. 3. Activity duration calculation: activities that start and end on the same day now have a duration of 1 day instead of 0 days 4. Activities XML datafeed: added CDATA tags to activityName and sctructureID to prevent malformed XMLs 5. Performance Metric XML datafeed: added CDATA tag to investmentTitle to preven malformed XMLs ------------------------------------- RELEASE 2.3 Deployed June 5th 2012 ------------------------------------- New Features ============ 1. Performance Metric Actuals datafeed: new feed includes a history of Actuals for each metric (currently available only for OMB users) 2. Agency datafeed: new feed which references agency codes, names and abbreviations (currently available only for OMB users) 3. Bureua datafeed: new feed which references bureau codes, names and abbreviations (currently available only for OMB users) Enhancements =========== 1. Performance Metric datafeed: changed "Updated Date of Most Recent Actual" back to "Updated Date" for consistency 2. Exhibit 53 archive: added a new Mega53 file based on the Updated President's Budget submissions 3. Home page: updated link to point to the new Mega53 file Defects ======== 1. Treemap export: more than 50 records can now be exported at once and dollars are no longer rounded 2. Data Quality Report: agency admin role can now view this page properly 3. Portfolio: fixed an issue with filters not being applied correctly 4. Fixed various 508 issues on Visualizaitions, TechStat and Datafeeds pages, along with footer issues 5. Token authentication: fixed an issue where the timestamp would revert to 1969
